9/11 Memorial

A day of mourning is appropriate and a day of service is essential as well.  It reminds us that we were knocked down but not knocked out. We are a resilient people. We must therefore be reminded as well to be ever vigilant, in our lives of the dangers of evil forces lurking about. I would add another federal holiday for this day. A day of awareness and vigilance as Americans. We must be sharp as serpants innocent as doves. Shrewd to the fact that while these United States of America are unique and beautiful there are still those who dispise our freedoms and way of life. We shall be ever grateful to our military and local law enforcement agencies and first responders for there constant surveillance of evil in our communities. Also For the individuals and churches who watch and pray " lead us away from temptation and deliver us from evil"
