Let’s address these current events. It appears at times that the wicked are just getting more and more wicked and darkness is getting more and more dark. That can be very concerning for the believer and his or her family. It can be very concerning for the church and it’s impact on society. It’s one thing when we see perversity and darkness in our world, it’s another level when they begin to mock directly our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In case you weren’t aware, in the opening ceremonies of the Paris Olympics, there was a group of people who dressed in drag as if they were displaying the Lord’s supper with His disciples. It was an abomination and a disgrace. We should know as Christians that without Christ people are without hope. Today I wanna share a few scriptures to bring hope and good news in a bad news world. In the midst of that darkness, there is light through scripture. In addition, I believe we are the midst of the greatest renewal, revival and awakening this world has ever seen. Let’s begin with a great scripture from Isaiah chapter 60 “Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.” Isaiah 60:1-2 NKJV Let’s also look at Psalm 37 “Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb. Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.” Psalms 37:1-4 Finally Let’s see what Galatians has to say “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.” Galatians 6:7-8 NKJV There is coming a payday for the wicked. There are those who have rejected Christ who will experience eternal damnation. We are told that this wickedness would continue. What is the church to do? What is an individual to do? What are families to do? Well the answer is as old as scripture itself. We are to stand on the Word of God. The Word of God is a steady strong anchor to the soul. Certainly, our soul gets vexed, looking at some of these things and hearing about some of these things. It seems like the day of Sodom and Gomorrah. Lot’s righteous soul was being vexed by the perversion of Sodom and Gomorrah. The good news is the Lord is our shepherd and we shall not want he’ll make us lie down in green pastures he’ll lead us besides still waters he’ll restore our soul and lead us in paths that are right for his name sake. Though we walk through valleys and shadows of death we fear no evil because you are with us, Your word And Holy Spirit comfort us. You prepare a table for us in the presence of our enemies and you anoint our heads with oil and our cup runs over. Goodness and mercy will follow us all the days of our lives and we shall dwell as Your house oh Lord forever. The good news is that no weapon formed against us will prosper (Is 54:17) and that there is no temptation taken us that is not common to man. God will provide a way of escape that we can bear it. ( 1 Corinthians 10:13) In addition to this corrupt display of blasphemy the athletes are also forbidden to express their faith in Jesus verbally. I like what one athlete did. She used sign language to share the love of Christ. What is this fear of the name of Jesus? It is the same fear that was in the book of Acts when they tried to forbid them from speaking the name of Jesus. (Acts 4:18) The name of Jesus has tremendous power. It is the name above every name. Every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess that wonderful name of Jesus. What is it about the name of Jesus that causes men to use his name in vain or in the same sentence of a curse. When all he did was come to bless humanity, and deliver humanity from the cursed state of sin and abandonment. How come they don’t use the name Mohammed or Krishna or one of the 500 million Hindu gods? I will tell you why, because an unregenerate human being is dominated by a demon spirit that hates Jesus and will use his name flippantly to belittle our lovely Jesus. No man can say Jesus is Lord without the help of the Holy Spirit. We have invoked that name for the use of prayer, healing, faith, declarations, and of course salvation. That name is endowed with honor, dignity and power. Let’s close out this topic looking at Galatians 6:6-9 once again. “Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches. Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. THE AMERICAN DREAM
The American dream is different for every person. for one person, It’s starting a business and being an entrepreneur. For another, It’s a three bedroom, two bath house with a picket fence, a dog, a cat, two children and a spouse living in suburbia. For another, it’s becoming a teacher, a lawyer, a doctor, a counselor a nurse or minister. It may also be the pursuit of being a political leader, or civil servant. The bad news is On 9/11 22 years ago. the American dream was shot down for thousands by radical islamic militants who hate the very things we dream of. They hate Our way of life, our constitutional republic and our freedoms of worship. It all came under attack. The joys of the American dream were attacked and snuffed out for over 3000 people. Today we have lived and we’ve learned through our loss. The good news is that the American dream and the hopes of one nation under God are stronger than hatred. A dream built on truths, God-given truths, can never be snuffed out. We have seen great men like Martin Luther King, who declared that “peace is not the absence of tension, but the establishment of justice,” or Ronald Reagan saying to Mr. Miquel Gorbachev of communist Russia “Mr. Gorbachev tear down these walls.” we are a nation, a people that dream. We are a generous nation, probably one of the most generous that ever existed. We have sent out missionaries to the farthest regions of the world, we’ve given help to build other nations, even those who have sought our demise. We are not a perfect people, but we’re striving for the American dream. A dream where we as a people are living in the land of the free because of the brave. A dream to be a people of faith in the God who has created all men equal. There are many that still grieve the loss of a brother, an uncle, a father, a mother, a co worker from that perilous day. They are not here to see their children or grandchildren grow up, play Little League or give their child away in marriage. We hurt for those who have suffered and today we GATHER together to show our support for ONE ANOTHER. The good news is we can stand together courageously, Through our continued pursuit to be one nation under God and to love and serve one another, we as a nation shall always rise from ashes to beauty.

AT the beginning of this year I had planned to support Ron DeSantis in his run for president in 2024. But with the multiple indictments leveled against Donald Trump, that has all changed. I am now all in for Trump and here is why.
It is obvious that the Left-wing Democrat Party has its big guns all trained on Trump with the intention of destroying him. They don’t seem that concerned about the other Republican candidates. It is Trump with whom they are obsessed. The question is, “Why?”
The answer is that they see Trump as the one big obstacle that is blocking their path to “fundamentally transform” America into a godless, socialist, and globalist state. If they can eliminate Trump, they believe the rest will be easy pickings.
If they are successful, it will be a sad day for America. Freedom of conscience will be lost. Individual and religious liberties will be subordinated by the state to the woke agendas of the Left. American freedom will be a thing of the past.
Despite his personal flaws, Donald Trump has defended individual and religious liberty. He has defended life in the womb. He has not been ashamed to allow people to openly pray in the Oval Office. In fact, he has also been the most vocal witness for Christ I have ever seen in the White House. The secularist, Left-wing Democrat party finds all of this shocking and disgusting.
If the Democrat Party is successful in erasing Trump, they will feel emboldened to steamroll their Leftist agenda through every city, town, and hamlet. If they have their way, our God-given rights of “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness” will be a thing of the past. The America of Washington, Madison, Lincoln, and King will be replaced by the America of the Left-wing Marxists of the Democrat Party.
An anonymous writer once said, “Where the battle rages there the loyalty of the soldier is proved; and to be steady on all battle fronts besides this one, is mere flight and disgrace if he flinches at that point.” The battle for America's future is raging around Donald J. This is the narrative we hear today in thE LGBTQ+ world. The bad news is humanity seeks to define “love” on its own terms. This can be very confusing and dangerous. It can lead to all kinds of sexual perversion. In fact, it only becomes more perverse as our culture normalizes certain behavior. The next stage is when perverse behavior is then legalized with punishment then inflicted on those who speak the truth. The third stage is those who practice perverse behavior then seek to proselytize or recruit others to practice their lifestyle. The final stage is that the behavior becomes militarized. We saw this militarization in true form as a “trans” individual murdered a group of people at a church in Tennessee.
Is love just love no matter how we define it? Should we not let God define love according to His Word?

1. God is love.
1 John 4:4 “He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.”
2. We can only love because he first loved us.
1 John 4:19 19 “We love him, because he first loved us.”
3. Loving God is the basis for true love.
1 John 5:2 (KJV). “By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments “
4. Love requires discernment, wITH boundaries. Not every one gets access to our personal lives even though you love them.
Phil 1:9-10 KJV “And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ”
The good news is, God displayed His Love through Christ. If we see Christ we see the Father. Let’s be diligent to walk in the God kind of love. Agape is the Greek rendering of this God kind of love. The Greek has four words for love as compared to our one English word.
1. Sorge - Family love
2. Phileo - Brotherly love
3. Eros - Erotic or sexual love
4. Agape - The God kind of love.
May God’s Agape love flood your heart. May Philippians 1:9 be yours

Constitutional Victories
We know the bad news in the world, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, human trafficking at our southern border, drug trafficking at our southern border, fraudulent elections, inflation and broken families to name a few things.
Some good news has come our way in the last week that has been historic.
The overturning of Roe v. Wade, the protection of gun rights in New York, the protection for school choice in Maine and the protection of religious liberty.
Roe v. Wade was indeed a victory mostly for the constitution. The constitution is a document that our forefathers put together based on their collective understanding of the nature of man. These men came here to worship freely, govern freely and to be protected from taxation without representation. The constitution helped establish a republic based on Biblical truths.
To be fair, President Trump had a huge part to play in these recent decisions. The importance of appointing constitutionalist on the Supreme Court is enormous.
Those of us that are New Yorkers have a challenge in front of us. The bad news is that our state government has gone rogue. They allow infanticide, they protect the Victimizer more than the victim when it comes to crimes. Criminals are being released without bail back on the streets to continue their deeds of darkness.
The good news is another supreme court decision has stopped foreign nationals from being able to vote in our elections in New York. On top of that, Lee Zeldin has recently won the governors Republican nomination. I believe he will be a very formidable candidate against the Democrat Kathy Hochel. I believe God holds the church responsible for the results of many of these things. A Prayerless church is a powerless church. A church that does not pray is probably the most dangerous issue in the world today. The good news is that we are praying and we are seeing results. Praise God! We need to follow this through especially here in New York. The further good news is that our Father in Heaven does hear from heaven, forgive our sin and heal our land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
A Call For Humility
The bad news is the world is pushing an agenda they want all to accept as normal and healthy. they want special rights and a month dedicated to perversion of sexual expression. on top of that they want to call it "pride" month. In the town of sayville the pride flag will be posted through out the city. this is not new but it is more BLATANT each year. the pandemic halted it for one year. while all men are created equal and are afforded equal rights under the law, special rights belong to no one. I grew up in sayville and was exposed to the gay community long before it got national attention. they practiced their lifestyle as they wished on fire island. now as it has gone main stream,more effort is pushed to gain access into school curriculum, LAW FARE and sadly into churches. frankly, i am concerned over the PANDERING of the church of JESUS CHRIST over this issue. We have so many issues to deal with as pastors, that should be the least of our issues. we have all come to christ as broken humans in need of a loving SAVIOR. As Ben Carson once said, "we all have equal rights not extra rights"

The Bad news: THe recent shootinG at Robb ELEMENTARY school is HORRIFIC. At least 16 CHILDREN were killed and Two adults. While the media seeks to Inform us, POLITICIANS Debate the causE and social Scientists try to go deep into the social ills in our society, the Word of God helps us fInd the ANSWERS. Lets look at a report from NBC NEWS by elisha fieldstadt THAT GIVES US A LOOK INTO THE SHOOTERS LIFE.
"Juan Alvarez, 62, who has been in a relationship with the shooter’s mother for about a year and lives with her, said Ramos left the home about two months ago after he and his mom had an intense argument after she disconnected the Wi-Fi. The two would often fight, he said.
“He was kind of a weird one. I never got along with him. I never socialized with him. He doesn’t talk to nobody,” Alvarez said. “When you try to talk to him he’d just sit there and walk away.”
The shooter’s grandfather told ABC News he had no idea his grandson had purchased rifles or that they were in his house.
Because the grandfather, 72-year-old Rolando Reyes, is a felon, he cannot live in a house with firearms, according to the news outlet. If he had known, Reyes would have turned his grandson in, he told ABC News..
THE SCRIPTURES TEACH US THAT A CURSE CAUSELESS DOES NOT COMe.

Jesus said this.
“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." John 10:10.
we can see the connection between the home life,and this shooter's actions. The disconnect and strife can be so DESTRUCTIVE to a society. Where are the fathers?
Fatherlessness is the worst plague on the human race. if a child or teen does not have a father or someone to mentor them in thEir turbulent ADOLESCENT years, it can be dangerous.
the good news, there are many men, woman, teachers, coaches, pastors and relatives who can stop this curse or plague in it's track.
above the natural side, the supernatural touch of the Holy Spirit can transform a young person's life. two of our mentors, Ken hagin and dick mills both had horrible fathers. Ken hagin speaks of a time in his teens when he would have killed his father if he could have. dick mills had a father who was so destructive with his words it would haver easily destroyed his life had the new life in christ not transformed him. Both men were born again by the Holy Spirit and the Heavenly Father filled them with new life and love to heal their broken lives. Ken hagin went on to be a great father in the faith message. dick mills went on to a prophetic ministry ENCOURAGING people around the world.

the good news, there are many men, woman, teachers, coaches, pastors and relatives who can stop this curse or plague in it's track.
above the natural side, the supernatural touch of the Holy Spirit can transform a young person's life. two of our mentors, Ken hagin and dick mills both had horrible fathers. Ken hagin speaks of a time in his teens when he would have killed his father if he could have. dick mills had a father who was so destructive with his words it would haver easily destroyed his life had the new life in christ not transformed him. Both men were born again by the Holy Spirit and the Heavenly Father filled them with new life and love to heal their broken lives. Ken hagin went on to be a great father in the faith message. dick mills went on to a prophetic ministry ENCOURAGING people around the world.

KYIV, Ukraine - Here on the frontlines of Ukraine, the church is standing strong. In at least one case, it just happens to physically stand right between Kyiv and the Russian army.
But Pastor Andrei Martinov of Grace Generation church isn't nervous. He laughs, "No! No. No. We just pray."
Within hours of Russia's invasion, this prominent evangelical church in Kyiv started holding prayer services every four hours.
"We received a revelation from God that we are to pray, and the more the church is praying, it destroys the enemy and destructs their ability to shoot at Ukrainian territories, civilian targets, and our Ukrainian military," Pastor Andrei said.
He firmly believes God is answering those prayers as Ukraine's military fights to rebuff Russian forces.
"Ukraine will not be conquered by Russia, with God's help, Ukraine will overcome Russia," he said.
Yet, you cannot underestimate just how precarious the church sits geographically. On the western edge of Kyiv, Grace Generation is 6 miles away from Russian forces at this point.
"Of course, we are in regular communication with the Ukrainian military, and if there's any immediate danger, we will inform our people. But we are the church, we stay here, we do not run from war," he said.
Nearby explosions are a daily occurrence as CBN News discovered while working in the church's parking lot.
Yet, explosions do little to deter an army of volunteers, like Natalie Novikova, who've been coming to the church every day since war started to sort, pack, and gather relief supplies.
"Even though we hear the explosions, and sometimes they are very close, we just continue doing our ministry to help those who are in deeper need than we are- and that's why I'm not scared at all," Natalie said.
Even 11-year-old Elizabeth is here pitching in. "I feel good because I know that I'm doing something very important," she said.
The church has so far helped 60,000 people since Russia's invasion, and they tell CBN News this humanitarian effort is going to continue for as long as it takes. In the meantime, their focus is on Russia and they are praying for a major spiritual breakthrough.

Facing off with new virus variants
Dealing with the new variants. Getting ahead of the curve so to speak. It is time to put legs to our faith. For every level of evil there is a level of grace. There is no temptation taking us that’s not common to man but God is faithful to not allow us to be tempted above what we are able to handle but with every temptation provide a way of escape that we can bare it. So we use our faith and stand on the word declaring his protection by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony. We do what we can in the natural, diet, exercise, take vitamin C, vitamin D3, zinc. Lets consider other therapeutics. Consult a God fearing medical professional. Lets do our research. No fear no virus is bigger than our God. And no weapon formed against us will prosper. For every action there’s an opposite and equal reaction. Where sin abounds Grace does much more abound. A key to getting grace in this life is humility. We humble ourselves and pray. Our lives are in your hands Lord. In Him we live and move and have our being. We live unto the Lord We die unto the Lord. Whether we live or die we are the Lord’s. No fear of death. Only reverence toward God and His holy Word and Holy Spirit.

The Gospel is the power of God

When we share the Gospel or good news of Jesus Christ we are not only providing the pathway to an eternity in Heaven, but a release of dynamic power to live in this present time over sins power. The result is lives are changed. The practice of sin which steals, kills and destroys is overpowered by salvation and the new birth. A young mom and dad will reconsider their decision to terminate their unborn child, a drug dealer or abuser will stop that destructive behavior, a child sex trafficker will repent and cease that hideous practice. There is dynamite power in the true Gospel. We must be confident of this as we present the great message of Jesus Christ.
I am honored to vote in our elections. I believe it is important and our duty to do so. However, changing policy and politics alone will not change hearts. Only the power of salvation born from the faith in the message of the Gospel will ultimately change lives and society.

Thousands of lives saved through the “Heartbeat Bill”
The bad news is since 1973 in the Row versus Wade determination, millions of unborn babie’s lives have been terminated. AbortIon is a hideous practice that puts a blot on our nation. In it’s wakE, much pain iS left in the hearts of mothers and fathers. Pastor Frank Pavone, a Catholic priest has a ministry to help prevent Abortion. His ministry ministerS love and healing to both father and mother. Yes, fathers have been deeply hurt. He has seen in his ministry the pain of fathers who unbeknownst to them come to realize their child’s life was terminated. For 50 years now this topic has been debated over, prayed over and litigated over. Marches have taken place every year Through the March for life. This March is primarily young people by the way. Last year, President Trump joined the ranks and stood for life. No other president has played such a strong part. Our recent governor was a “pro choice“ candidate. However, he went beyond Pro choice To a pro death He signEd legislature here in New York for late term abortions. I watched as people gathered around the governor as he to signed the legislaturE, The woman behind him began to cackle like a bunch of witches. Their thirst for blood was now being satisfied. Former candidate for president, former New York senator and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, is a big supporter of “woman’s choice“. She also supports late term abortion. She haD made that clear in the presidential debates of 2016. The hideous practice of abortion has left a trail of tears. The good news is that conservative states are fighting back. Recently, The Texas State legislature has signed and ratified the “heartbeat bill”. It is basically saying that abortions cannot take place in their state once a heartbeat is detected. Some will not refer this piece of legislation as the heartbeat bill. instead, to placte to political correctness will call it the six week bill. That’s sad because they’re really just looking for a clinical observation. Why? the Name “heartbeat bill“ makes it very personal, human and very real. Many amazing things are going on To aN unborn child at six weeks. A heart is detected and fingers and toes can be seen. Some good news is that the Supreme Court affirmed The law by a five to four decision. Planned Parenthood is suing back trying to hinder and ThwArt this process, why? In one day it went from 1400 terminated lives to 400. The planned parenthood moneymaking, death machine is being put on notice. I’m not saying there isn’t a fight yet ahead but Texas is leading the way to save mOre lives. Other states are looking to do the same thing. When President Trump was in office he did one of the most important things a president can do. He appointed conservative constitutionalist in federal courts throughout the land and appointed constitutionalist and conservatives into the Supreme Court.
Let’s pray “Lord continue to heal our nation, mothers and fathers bringing salvation, healing and Grace. Be merciful to this nation Lord! Restore us to be a shining city on a hill, a light to the world.“

There are four things going on in America right now simultaneously.

Regardless of what bothers you the most, our faith must always be in operation to provide a shield as we move forward as the body of Christ. We operate in a heavenly kingdom based on heavenly promises. We need to know how to use our faith on purpose. We must know how to use our faith to get our needs met. The weapons of our warfare series,(thursday's on zoom) is about pulling down strongholds and narratives that fight against the word of God and the kingdom of God. We are told under no circumstance will we be denied provision if we seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. (Matt 6:33) This promise was given while Jerusalem was under occupation by the Roman empire. Jesus told his disciples not to fear or to worry. We are not to buy into the narrative of the world system and all that it is groping for its needs to be met. It’s long past the time where we can be wishy-washy about our faith. It’s time to literally fight the good fight of faith. We have the weapons and the wherewithal to win. It is extremely important to Know, be convinced and assured that faith in God‘s word works. We take up the shield of faith to block the narratives, the arguments the opinions of the world system. We then take the sword of the spirit to do combat and move forward pulling down strongholds of unbelief, fear, Doubt and we win. What the The biggest threat to
America is as we know it.
Some would say Communism, others would say China or Russia. Some might say the Democrat party. Others would say fraud in our elections or nuclear bombs in the hands of rogue nations. While all those are very concerning, the worst threat to America as we know it is an apathetic, complacent and indifferent church. A prayer-less Church is a careless Church. While church was indifferent to prayer in the 1960’s prayer was strategically removed from schools. While we may debate elections and political positions vehemently, we must never cease to pray and intercede for our leaders and those in authority. The Church of Jesus Christ is seated with Christ to the highest level of authority. If we grow complacent, apathetic or indifferent, satan will have free course in our governance, schools and local communities. That is the bad news. The good news is we as the Church are indeed seated with Christ in Heavenly places.

We have the name of Jesus, the blood of Jesus and the eternal Word of God. As we take our seat and use these tools on purpose, we will see demonic strongholds displaced. Those strongholds hold people back from hearing and receiving the Gospel. As we press in and strategically authorize God’s power on earth we will establish Kingdom order. Jesus taught His disciples to pray “your kingdom come on earth as it is in Heaven. Yes, evil will always be lurking about but we have yet to see the impact of a praying, faith filled and worshiping Church in the earth that knows Her authority.
So let’s stir up our hearts and minds to who God is, who we have become in Christ a purposely thwart the works of darkness from prevailing in our communities. Let’s shake off apathy, complacency and indifference, crucify the flesh and take our stand causing kingdom order to prevail.

Tale of two Michaels.
Michael Healy a local resident here in Patchogue. As a NYC firefighter stationed in the bronx,He as firefighter gave the ultimate sacrifice while on a rescue during 9/11. We honor him and others each year at our 9/11 memorial service.
Michael Murphy a navy seal who died in the war in Afghanistan. He has been honored with our Post office name / A Navy seal Museum in West Sayville and a navel Destroyer is named after him. The USS Michael Murphy.
These are just two of the many Michaels, Johns, Susans and Roberts and such that have given the ultimate sacrifice. They have died in battle and are from our community. There are countless others through out our local communities who have died from the after effects of war, with physical and emotional complications resulting in disease and even suicide where statistics say at least 22 vets die each day. In addition, we must never forget there are those family members that are left behind; wives, children, gold star parentsand friends who suffer the pain of their loss.
Jesus said “greater love has no man then this, then to lay do his or her life for his friend ” There are many who live this verse while they live, whether they serve currently in the military, or as local first responders or as parents who lay their lives down for their families.
We must take time to honor the fallen Heroes, pray for their families left behind and do our best in their honor and in the honor of God and country to live a life for the sake of others.

These are just two of the many Michaels, Johns, Susans and Roberts and such that have given the ultimate sacrifice. They have died in battle and are from our community. There are countless others through out our local communities who have died from the after effects of war, with physical and emotional complications resulting in disease and even suicide where statistics say at least 22 vets die each day. In addition, we must never forget there are those family members that are left behind; wives, children, gold star parentsand friends who suffer the pain of their loss.
Jesus said “greater love has no man then this, then to lay do his or her life for his friend ” There are many who live this verse while they live, whether they serve currently in the military, or as local first responders or as parents who lay their lives down for their families.
We must take time to honor the fallen Heroes, pray for their families left behind and do our best in their honor and in the honor of God and country to live a life for the sake of others.

Let’s remember what the blood of Jesus does. It provides antiviral properties against the virus of sin and death. It is a vaccine over the powers of sin and death. We never want to forget the precious blood of Jesus. It goes beyond just a nice monthly memorial service. It is a release of supernatural significance and power. Just like in the natural, blood is the transmitter of disease and or health throughout the body. In the spiritual, the blood is the transmitter of supernatural power, healing and protection. As a young boy my sister used to plead the blood over me and eventually she did it over her children. It is a practice that I’ve learned to utilize when I am at a major cross road in my life. No pun intended. If I am not sure what to do or there’s danger about, I plead the blood. So we celebrate communion yes to remember the great work of the cross, salvation and The release of the Holy Spirit. We must also remember the great significance and power of the blood of the lamb. We overcome by the blood of the lamb, the word of our testimony and choosing to live a selfless life of love. Rev 12:11
Jesus took sin in his body on the cross that by his stripes we are healed. 1Peter 2:24
It was there on the cross he allowed the injection of the very naturE of sin. The very sin that wreaks havoc in the earth. It was there, iNjected into His body To be transformed into a life-saving immunization shot or inoculation for the world. It is then activated by faith to those who believe. While a natural inoculation is felt through the body through a needle, This supernatural inoculation is taken by faith as we eat the body and blood of Jesus Christ. You can feel it, you can see it, you can touch it to help your faith but it must be taken by faith in an act of honor. It’s amazing how many people are just taking the vaccine by natural faith. They trust the pharmacies and Dr. Fauci to tell them what to do, how to live and wear masks. I am totally against this mask mandate. It is a masquerade especially with our children. Are you a doctor or a nurse? wear your mask as required. Do you have a cold? Are you sneezing a lot? Wear a mask or stay home. This mask mandate is way out of control. It’s a religion A doctrine of fear. That’s why I wear a mask that says “no fear trust God.” I will preach faith where ever I go. I refuse to bow to the spirit of fear. Someone may ask “Pastor didn’t you take the vaccine”. I had the opportunity with the fire department to take it real early. I did not, but I do have the antibodies. I have them by faith. Just like you trusted the scientific community to take the vaccine by faith, I take communion by faith. What about the saying, “my body my choice”. The world uses this phrase to justify the termination of an unborn child’s life. Ultimately as believers, our body is God’s temple. It is His body now!! My health issues and information is really none of Anyone’s BUSINESS BUT my health prOfessionals. I am being transparent because in my position as a pastor and you need to know my heart. The moment they start making this a mandate or have to use passports to get around is the moment we begin going down a very slippery slope. That’s why some states have already put in their laws that they will not allow vaccine passports. They are staying a step ahead of the federal government which I really respect. Remember in the end evil wants to control. This type of witchcraft is the highest form of controlling power. If you get a vaccine, use your faith for no side effects and a healthy reaction. I do not believe with the fear mongers in the church who are saying that it is the mark of the beast. It is not the Mark of the beast. The reason I know that is because they’re not asking you to renounce Jesus and your faith and worship the beast. So like with everything, be it unto to you according to your faith. I do not deny the reality of this virus or any virus for that matter, but I also do not deny the reality of the healing power that’s resident within the church.
When we eat communion we should look at the ingredients within the communion table as diligently as we look at ingredients in the bowl of cereal that we eat. Even more so. People are almost neurotic when it comes to ingredients in food. I certainly do look at ingredients more than I ever have because I’m trying to reduce sugar levels and salt intake. I don’t want any of the high fructose. I don’t want to have any of the false fillers that are put it to certain foods. I take the time to look at the ingredients. We have faith in what is written on the side of the cereal box. How much more should we have faith as to what is written in the Scriptures concerning the communion table. We should search the scriptures concerning healing. We should look to Jesus and the power in his blood. Sadly though, many do not know what’s available to them in Christ. The lack of knowledge can destroy us. Hosea 4:6
The consequences not discerning the Lord‘s body are clearly laid out in 1 Corinthians 11:28-30. Paul said many are weak and sickly and many sleep ( die prematurely) not discerning or understanding the significance of the communion meal. Many dishonor the body and blood of Christ. Many dishonor themselves as members of Christ. Many dishonor others in the Body of Christ And dishonor the communion table.
Let’s take our inoculation by faith in Christ and receive all the benefits that come from it. Did Jesus‘s death on the cross provide benefits or is it just a vaNe formality. I believe God has benefits. Psalm 103 teaches us to bless the Lord with all our soul with all that is within us to bless his holy name. We are to bless the Lord with all our soul and forget not all his benefits. He forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases. He redeems our lives from destruction and crowns us with loving kindness and compassion

The bad news is man with out Christ is a sinner. Sin has wreaked havoc over men, woman and the earth itself. Since the fall of man, we have been suffering from the law of sin and death. Sickness, disease, poverty, wars, emotional abuse, abandonment, the list goes on. The law of sin and death basically states that, death is the by product of sin. All of us have tasted of this law at some point. Some more than others. That is not always because one man has sinned more than another. Many suffer from this law through no direct fault of their own. Through one man’s ( Adam ) disobedience many suffer. This law effects everyone. Like gravity, no one is exempt. What is the remedy?
Jesus the second Adam. Through Jesus’s obedience we are made righteous. Through his redemptive work on the cross and His resurrection we have been redeemed from this curse of the law. Now, there is no condemnation as we walk with Him and live in Him. (Romans 8:1-2). Everything Jesus suffered had redemptive value in it. From the garden of Gethsemane, to the resurrection, all Jesus did was for our redemption. Redemption simply means payback. Since the wages of sin is death, Jesus gave His life to pay for our sins. Jesus ( the second Adam) was obedient to God even to death on the cross. Therefore, what Adam did through disobedience, Jesus through His obedience redeemed us from the debt to the law of sin and death. Thank you Father for sending Jesus!! It seems these dayS That anything that man dreams about or talks about he accomplishes. he landed on mars (Mars probe perseverance), has driverless cars,a.i., New Energy discoveries and wireless electronics. God has given us witty inventions, if used correctly can improve the human plight. ultimately if used correctly, These witty inventions help communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world. The bad news is, man in his lust for power and control, uses these RESOURCES to bring about "globalism". GLOBALISM is a one world government with one MONETARY system and religious antichrist system. we see this in the form of communism, socialism and what existed in nazi germany, fascism. America is now at a crossroad. will she remain a unique nation "under god" or join the global world order? we are slowly being drawn into a one world government. america is an EXCEPTIONAL nation born out of prayer. America was born for the desire to be free, to grow, prosper and worship without restrictions. the tower of babel is a great picture of the one world order (globalism). God told noah and his DESCENDANTS to be fruitful, multiply and replenish the earth. So they did and began to spread across the land even with different languages.

why does God want SOVEREIGN nations? He wants diversity to reflect his beauty and majesty. Israel is a great example. Man and man made religion, seeks uniformity which makes slaves of humanity. man is a poor god. he will eventually be CORRUPT and self serving. socialism/communism pushes god out and makes the government god. fascism makes robots such as hitler's attempt at the aryan race.
THE GOOD NEWS IS that GOD INTERVENEs. america and it's allies, by the grace of god, halted the dominance of hitler and fascism. In the 1980's god raised up a strong leader in ronald reagon to confront communism and the Cold War was won.
now while socialism and the ccp (chinese communist party) seek to work its way into american society, strong leadership has and will arise again to counter it. I BELIEVE PRESIDENT TRUMP WITH HIS "AMERICA FIRST" POLICY WAS AN ACT OF GOD'S INTERVENTION against this tendency towards a one world government. the america first policy is bigger than america. globalism is the violation of god's command to fill the earth and to have national BOUNDARIES. I believe God is about to intervene with an awakening in the Holy Spirit. Who Is The Real President?
I have to state on the onset that I do believe there was fraud within this election. the numbers just don’t work. I like working with numberS. I like looking at statistics. none of this adds up with this election. I’m sure many of you have looked at the stats and have heard all the arguments for and against. You may ask me, do I believe President Trump will be back in office? I do not know that. I respect the office of the Prophet and believe god has raised up LEGITIMATE prophets in our day. I am listening and waiting on the Lord like you looking to him to bring to pass his will and plan. I do believe president Trump is going to have a tremendous influence and impact in the years to come. I believe we are yet to see the full strength of the conservative party in the movement that had begun under his administration. Now the bad news is, Mr. Biden is doing a lot of things to overturn What President Trump haD done with executive orders. The problem with executive orders is that they are not done through Congress. They simply are temporary injunctions by the president. They can be easily overturned by the next president. Real change comes when you have bills and legislation passed through Congress and the Senate. Real change comes when you have the Senate install God-fearing constitutionalist into the federal courts of our land. The good news is when we have the Senate install God-fearing Constitutionalists into the Supreme Court. So while many executive orders are being written and signed and it looks dastardly and dangerous, President Trump’s administration is Long lasting and will Not be easily changed. The most important thing in my belief, is not that President Trump gets back into the Oval Office, but that we will once again win back Congress and Senate.I personally would love to have him back in office. I am forever hopeful! Before that can happen, we need to deal with the fraud within the election system. What good is it to vote if you know that it can be manipulated in any direction the powers that be wish. The good news is I believe that’s all going to be exposed in the coming days. It will be a sight to see. President Trump is a wrecking ball, a spearhead and a trumpet that needs to be sounded. The institutions of our government were clogged with bureaucracy and selfish ignorant men. Our focus of prayer needs to be in the judicial arena of our country right now. our prayers needd to be directed toward the election process for Congress and the Senate. As I said once before in our local area everyone of our choices were elected for Congress and for state Senate and assembly. That is where the work needs to be done now. Would I’d like to see President Trump back in office? Absolutely! Will he? I do not know. It has never been done before. It does not mean it couldn’t happen. So let’s hold onto our hats and enjoy the ride. I have listened carefully to what many of those who prophecy have said and believe was going to happen However, I always keep in mind the verse 1 Corinthians 13 “For we know in part and we prophesy in part,”
An interesting fact is that I didn’t hear any one prophecy or get a word of wisdom, or predict how this election was actually going to go or that there was going to be fraud. However I did hear Rush Limbaugh speak of it and predicted it. I also heard President Trump speak of it and predict it. What am I saying? The prophetic word doesn’t always come through a statement “this is what the Lord says. Future prediction or a “word of wisdom”can be through very perceptive people who can read the times and seasons we are in. One of the things I loved about President Trump was that he was right most of the time. He knew they were spying on his campaign, he knew the Russian witch hunt was just that a witch hunt. he knew that the impeachment process was another form of a witch hunt. We are told in Scripture that evil men will wax worse and worse deceiving and being deceived. But that does not mean they will not be brought to justice. Those of us that live in New York are dealing with a governor that’s a bit obstinate and arrogant. It saddens my heart but I think he will have to be removed from his office this year perhaps not finish out his last term. The good news in all of this is that prayer still works and we need to focus on those things and not quit. We must continue praying for the department of justice which includes the Congress, the Senate, the Supreme Court, the federal judges, the FBI, the CIA homeland security and border patrol.Like some of you I’m struggling in my prayers right now for our government leaders in the office of the president. So I now pray for God’s kingdom order to come to the office of the president. I pray laborers, God-fearing laborers to be integrated into that office. I pray laborers to speak to Mr. Biden and Miss Harris, to influence them for right decisions but also that they would come to know Jesus both them and their families. Man in his wickedness thinks he gets away with things. God who is just. Will hear if his people will pray. He will begin to turn the tide. Remember when wicked people are put in fraudulently they are being set up for a take out. When godly people are defrauded they are experiencing a setback for a set up.Take heart, be strong and stay your post in prayer, confidence and speaking out in your sphere of influence. That’s sphere includes the church, the schools, the local elections, the state elections and the federal elections. God and His agents will clean up this electoral process and bring justice where there’s been an injustice. “The best is yet to come“

The bad news is we are a people who can be UngraTful. It is a hideous condition of any people. The good News is we have an enormous amount to be grateful for. The Tech Giants, The Nephilim Of Our Day
THE BAD NEWS IS THE CONTROL(CENSORING) AND WITCHCRAFT(CONTROL OF FREE SPEECH) BEING EXERCISED BY BIG TECH GIANTS. CHECK OUT THESE SCRIPTURES. TO UNDERSTAND THE GOOD NEWS.

Today’s good news in a bad news world is kind of unusual. We however, are living in unusual times. In personal prayer today, I was meditating on Genesis 6. As we gathered for our Overcomer prayer meeting, the story of the giants came back to me. I felt like the Holy Spirit was telling me the giants of today are the tech giants. They have mated with the god of Maman and are seeking to control the human race. Their works of censoring and dictating to us and our president what we can say is a blatant violation the first amendment.
When the prosperity of the wicked leads to demonic control and witchcraft, I say it’s time to defeat the giants.
We all know the story of how David faced Goliath. Goliath was part of the offspring of the giants we read about in Genesis 6. Somehow the Nephilim genetics got passed on to one of Noah‘s kids. Those details aren’t given to us. What we do know is that there were giants in David’s day. Joshua, Moses’s military commander, spied out the land of Canaan. As they saw the giants in the land, 10 of the spies fainted in heart.
When David went down to the stream to pick up five smooth stones he was preparing not only to take out Goliath but his brothers as well. The five smooth stones are being prepared today to take out dismantle, hinder or deter these tech giants from controlling the mind mankind. It is very intimidating and out of control. The stones are for the five top tech giants in America today. They are Apple, Amazon, Facebook, Twitter and Google. While some good has come through these organizations helping us to connect with one another, educate and grow businesses, they have stepped over the line in the spirit of control and witchcraft. The five smooth stones represent five words from the Lord to be prophesied in the earth to deal with these modern Nephilim.
1.They have been weighed in the balance and have come up wanting. In other words, their sin has outweighed their benefit. There will be correction as it was for Nebuchadnezzar.
2.There will be a loosing of finances from their dark resources and intentions. No longer will it just be focused on liberal or ungodly agendas. It will now be used to get the gospel out. “The wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just” Prov 13:22
3.New leaders will arise in to help guide these companies in a balanced direction. Many of the existing ones may be displaced.
4. The monopolizing of the market will be broken. Other options and availabilities in the social space have arised.
5. There will arise tremendous release in the sharing of the gospel. God’s word will prevail. The gates of hell shall not prevail against the Church of Jesus Christ nor His family of Leaders in America.

The Stars Lining Up?

With the recent appearance of what has been called the Christmas Star, I thought it helpful to do a little history lesson. The scriptures teach us that the stars are for signs.
“And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. Gen. “1:14-16
The last time the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn occurred was 800 years ago. It is interesting to note what was going on around the year 1220. One particular event in history was King John of England being forced by barons to sign the Magna CartA. The Magna CartA protected the rights of commoners and the free practice of faith. In its simplest form it was the pathway to England’s constitution and eventually ours here in America. Today we are in somewhat of a constitutional crisis where our elections are in question. I believe our constitution with the help of Almighty God will eventually guide us to a just and fair electoral process.
Another event during that time period was rise of Genghis Khan who invaded China, captures Peking (1214), conquers Persia (1218), invades Russia (1223), dies (1227). Khan was from Mongolia. Today Mongolia is an autonomous country, apart from China. Khan sought to be a world conqueror. Today, China which is adjacent to Mongolia is seeking world dominance. While each country is free to succeed as it should, to seek to conquer another nation as America for the purpose of communistic dominance is demonic. It is currently a threat to America as we know it. It should not be taken lightly. China is now seeking just that. There is a clandestine war in process right now! China steals our intellectual property, seeks to weaken our electoral process, wreak havoc in our economy, release viral attacks and become the supreme world military power in our world.
There is however, a growing Christian church in China. we pray for the church’s growth to continue and for the message of the gospel to effect China all the way to the top. We pray the Bamboo curtain will come all the way down and for the Word of God to prevail. We are called to pray for our enemies and bless them with the gospel message and deeds. As we do this, God will raise up laborers to work in that harvest field. As we pray for American leadership, God will give us strong leadership in America to call China out. I believe our current President and Mike Pompeo our Secretary of State are doing just that!
Why did I address this? As America maintains its freedoms, we will continue to be the premier launching pad for world missions. No nation has been honored with the privilege to reach out with the Gospel message and benevolent works to so many nations as America has. Many nations look to America to lead the way! Many of our brothers and sisters are deeply persecuted in nations intolerant to the Gospel. President Trump’s administration is holding some of these nations accountable. Look what happened to Isis. Elections have consequences. I am in the fight for fair and just elections. I believe every LEGAL vote should be counted. I am believing for justice to prevail. Hang on, the stars are lining up for signs of the times. Justice for the commoner in America and our enemies hidden in darkness WILL BE EXPOSED!!

First the bad news. In my 46 years of of living in the new birth, I have never seen the church in America hindered in any physical sense to the degree that it is today. Never has there been ordinances saying that you cannot gather to worship. I understand the precautions that need to be taken because of this man made pandemic, but to call the church “nonessential“ I believe is a direct attack on the church and dangerous to the spiritual and emotional health of our nation. While I have done my best to use zoom and technology to stay in touch with our people, I have not hesitated to open our building as soon as I could. We do our best to provide masks, hand sanitizer and keep the chairs 6 feet apart. The lack of connection is more dangerous to society than the risk of getting a virus. The death rate has plummeted. There are governors that have imposed draconian like rules inhibiting the church to gather. All this while allowing what is called “essential” businesses to stay open and run freely, such as liquor stores, home-improvement stores and big box stores. None of which can save the soul, restore spiritual health or provide counsel in time of trials.
The good news is our president Donald Trump installed three conservative Supreme Court justices. These justices are constitutionalist. In other words, they abide by the constitution as written. A few brave Christian and Jewish organizations started lawsuits against their governing powers. These suits eventually reached the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court ruled in favor of the churches to not be put under such stringent rules. As we read the constitution we see it is written in the first Amendment
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...
This is a powerful statement that has protected our freedoms to worship. A government agency cannot establish a religion or forbid its citizens to exercise the rights to worship.
It reminds me when Moses was called to go to Egypt to demand the people of Israel be freed to go and worship God. He declared “let my people go!!”
When pharaoh refused, plagues were sent to loose the grip of pharaoh and free the people to go and worship God. Today the cities that are acting like pharaoh will find the pandemic harder to overcome even with a vaccine. The Church of Jesus Christ must worship. God will have His people worship and will do what He must to loosen the grip of satanic control hindering the Church from true worship.

A Pastoral Perspective On The Election And 2021
A pastors perspective on current events, the election, and the coming year.
It is my mandate to preach the good news of Jesus Christ. It is to lift up and exalt Jesus. In lifting Him up and worshiping the Father all the ills of of our lives will come into divine order. However, I have listened to many notable prophetic voices the last 40 years of my life. I believe the prophetic ministry is extremely important right now. Our current events are so prophetic. We are watching prophecy come to pass before our eyes! I produced the page Good News In A Bad News World to provide an outlet to discuss these things.
What are we going to write about today?
From Nimrod at the Tower of Babel to the current press to “build back better” movement.
I am not a conspiracy theorist but I study the word of God and history and I see repeat cycles overtime. I am watching some nations that have fallen prey to draconian leadership only to suffocate human rights and freedoms. The three stage objective of communistic socialism is
In the last five years this country has gotten more polarized than I’ve ever seen it before. It was there already, but it has now been more exposed and defined. In 2016 I watch Hillary Clinton express her distain for 2/3 of the supporters of President Trump as a basket of deplorable‘s, xenophobic, homophobic, racist and bigots. I listened while she expressed her support for late term abortion‘s. I have watched in the last four years as the liberal progressive agenda has come to light. We have been through several “ages“. The Industrial Age, the information age and now what I call the crystal age. It has gone beyond information and it has exposed the inspiration behind the information. If you are a casual observer of politics and what’s going on you could easily be lulled to sleep by flowery words, false promises and seductive sentences and phrases such as “it takes a village“. While I believe in community working together, without the work of a local church and the worship of God we tend towards a socialist and communist society., Where “man is the measure of all things“
When God’s people are about to go over the edge in disobedience, and judgment is about to hit, there is always a remnant of people who repent and cry out for forgiveness. God then sends a move His spirit.
There are nine gifts of the spirit in the New Testament. All of them are manifested in the Old Testament except for tongues and interpretation of tongues. There are other anointing’s operations such as helps Ministries administrative gifts, leadership gifts and such. Nine being the number of judgment, expressing that God is going to deal with the works of darkness supernaturally. As long as the church is here and vibrant, The antichrist spirit and one world government will be held in abeyance until we are caught away or so backslid we have no ability to fend off the antichrist movement. The good news that I see is God is raising up voices of truth and power in this generation. It is the voice of the church that eventually countered the Roman Empire,it was the voice of the church that eventually countered the dark middle ages and it was the voice of the church that countered socialism and communism in 60-70s. It will be the voice of the church that will usher ina new reformation of American society!
Let’s talk about the anointing that is working on the earth now.
I have been made aware through my personal study and through other teachers in The church
That the anointing rested upon only the priest, the prophet and the king in the Old Testament
However, recently I have been meditating on the book of Judges. Specifically three of those judges Sampson, Deborah and Gideon.
Judges were not kings. Israel was more like a theocracy until the time of the kings. Deborah in judges 4 is described as a prophetess. Israel because of sin was turned over to its enemies of Canaan. Deborah spoke boldly into the military leader BarAk to gather 10,000 men and fight. Under her leadership. The oppressive rule of the enemy was broken.
I liken the work of prosecuting attorney Sidney Powell to Deborah
In Judges 6 we see the story of Gideon who through the use of a small scrappy army destroyed the oppression over Israel.
I liken the work of our President’s legal team as Gideon’s army with MayOr Rudy Giuliani. A Small but effective group of attorneys including Jordon and Jay Seklow. Several attorneys have left because of fear and threats on their lives.
In Judges 13-16. We see Samson wreak havoc on the oppression of the Philistines.
Samson would not be the guy you want teaching your Sunday school class. However, you definitely would want him there for a fight. Samson displayed unusual stamina, strength and quickness.
There is something that was coined among Republicans. It is called “Trump Speed” many of the Bureaucrats in government could not keep up with President Trump. Change was coming so swiftly and so hard the only way they would try to stop him would be to try to impeach him or hinder him through false accusations. Instead of giving into their plots, President trump just kept planning for the future of America. His strength and vitality at 74 years old has been quite amazing. I have never seen a president do rallies with tens of thousands of people attending even up to five a day. The Samson like strength has been on display the last five years. Has he been politically correct? No. Does he function like a politician ? No. Does he resemble your local Sunday school teacher? No. Is he effective in getting things done? A resounding Yes! Even “operation warp speed“ has proven to be an amazing feat. The producing of a vaccine by the end of this year is quite amazing. Of course the bureaucrats don’t want to admit it. The V-shaped recovery in our economy is nothing short of amazing. While there’s much yet to be done, there are forces that be, that hate strong leadership. The reason for that is it exposes their weakness and impotence and threatens their controlling powers over the government in America. These forces are hard at work trying to hinder this President Trump. Even some RINOS, (Republicans In Name Only)have displayed so much disdain for our president.
The anointing on this team of judges is exposing voter fraud. The election looked like a complete loss for 72 million people who voted for President Trump. The gleeful celebrations of the progressive left, will be short lived. The work of these “judges” is a sight to see. The anointing can come upon people for these tasks to undo what Satan has done. It will straighten crooked places, and make rough places smooth.
While sitting on the porch of the Roosevelt’s summer home in Sayville, I watched as my two grandchildren stood between the pillars in front of the house. I was quickly reminded of the story of Samson. His last act conquered the Philistines as they mocked him, his God and God’s people. What appears to be the end of President Trump, will expose such wicked intents like never before. Hold on to your hats and watch history in the making.
What about the coming year?
Our part is essential. We need to not only continue to pray for our president and his cabinet, But we need to do our part in our local communities to raise up the standard of conservative God fearing values in our communities.Our move as a church to the republican club building in Sayville 7 years ago was not a mistake. Our country is at a crossroads and God is using the conservative Republican party.
All four of the candidates that came out of this club were all elected to fill very important posts in our community and country. Two congressional seats were filled, a state senatorial seat was filled, an assembly post was filled.
Why is that important? Our forefathers set the balance of powers in government in order to protect against draconian rules. As this pandemic broke out the draconian type leadership surfaced in some local leaders.
Our current state senator voted against law and order and against protecting the most vulnerable in the womb. That is simply unacceptable she needed to go. I watched as our governor and the senators of this state gleefully rejoice over the passage of late term abortions. It sounded like a bunch of witches hackling. I grieved,cried and repented on behalf of our state. I prayed for God to raise up new leadership and He did using our local republican club members to do so.
As laws were passed to release criminals without bail I only imagined the chaos that would ensue. I attended a wake of a young man killed in a car accident as a result one of these released criminals driving drunk on the road. Recently,
the Supreme Court recently ruled against our governor's draconian rules on synagogues and churches. God is raising up Gideon’s army and His Judges to help us in the fight.
We must pray! An example of the effect of prayer was vividly displayed last year in our local school system. As we prayed, wrote letters and attended board meetings, we saw the removal of a rogue school superintendent promoting eastern mysticism. it was INSTITUTED as a required curriculum in our local grammar schools. The clerk for our school district pulled me aside and asked for prayer that a person of faith would fill the post. I believe God has done just that!
So what should be our posture as the church? It is the position of mighty prayer soldiers with our hands up calling on the God of Heaven to forgive, heal, pluck up and again plant. It is one of worship declaring that the Lord Sabaoth, )the Lord of the army of angels) will expose and dismantle fraud. It is standing our post in worship to Jehovah Nissi ( The Lord over our territory) will fight against those who fight against us. (Psalm 35:1) He will anoint the Joshuas and Judges to operate in supernatural anointing to undo what Satan has wrought and is seeking to do in our land. A closing promise for the coming year.

However, I have listened to many notable prophetic voices the last 40 years of my life. I believe the prophetic ministry is extremely important right now. Our current events are so prophetic. I am not a conspiracy theorist but I study the word of God and history and I see repeat cycles overtime. I am watching some nations that have fallen prey to draconian leadership only to suffocate human rights and freedoms. The three stage objective of communistic socialism is

In the last five years this country has gotten more polarized than I’ve ever seen it before. It was there already, but it has now been more exposed and defined. In 2016 I watch Hillary Clinton express her distain for 2/3 of the supporters of President Trump as a basket of deplorable‘s, xenophobic, homophobic, racist and bigots. I listened while she expressed her support for late term abortion‘s. I have watched in the last four years as the liberal progressive agenda has come to light. We have been through several “ages“. The Industrial Age, the information age and now what I call the crystal age. It has gone beyond information and it has exposed the inspiration behind the information. If you are a casual observer of politics and what’s going on you could easily be lulled to sleep by flowery words, false promises and seductive sentences and phrases such as “it takes a village“. While I believe in community working together, without the work of a local church and the worship of God we tend towards a socialist and communist society., Where “man is the measure of all things“
When God’s people are about to go over the edge in disobedience, and judgment is about to hit, there is always a remnant of people who repent and cry out for forgiveness. God then sends a move His spirit.
There are nine gifts of the spirit in the New Testament. All of them are manifested in the Old Testament except for tongues and interpretation of tongues. There are other anointing’s operations such as helps Ministries administrative gifts, leadership gifts and such. Nine being the number of judgment, expressing that God is going to deal with the works of darkness supernaturally. As long as the church is here and vibrant, The antichrist spirit and one world government will be held in abeyance until we are caught away or so backslid we have no ability to fend off the antichrist movement. The good news that I see is God is raising up voices of truth and power in this generation. It is the voice of the church that eventually countered the Roman Empire,it was the voice of the church that eventually countered the dark middle ages and it was the voice of the church that countered socialism and communism in 60-70s. It will be the voice of the church that will usher ina new reformation of American society!
Let’s talk about the anointing that is working on the earth now.
- The five fold ministry

- The judge anointing. ( there is a kingly anointing to conquer in the financial realm. I will speak of that another time)
I have been made aware through my personal study and through other teachers in The church
That the anointing rested upon only the priest, the prophet and the king in the Old Testament
However, recently I have been meditating on the book of Judges. Specifically three of those judges Sampson, Deborah and Gideon.
Judges were not kings. Israel was more like a theocracy until the time of the kings. Deborah in judges 4 is described as a prophetess. Israel because of sin was turned over to its enemies of Canaan. Deborah spoke boldly into the military leader BarAk to gather 10,000 men and fight. Under her leadership. The oppressive rule of the enemy was broken.

In Judges 6 we see the story of Gideon who through the use of a small scrappy army destroyed the oppression over Israel.
I liken the work of our President’s legal team as Gideon’s army with MayOr Rudy Giuliani. A Small but effective group of attorneys including Jordon and Jay Seklow. Several attorneys have left because of fear and threats on their lives.
In Judges 13-16. We see Samson wreak havoc on the oppression of the Philistines.
Samson would not be the guy you want teaching your Sunday school class. However, you definitely would want him there for a fight. Samson displayed unusual stamina, strength and quickness.
There is something that was coined among Republicans. It is called “Trump Speed” many of the Bureaucrats in government could not keep up with President Trump. Change was coming so swiftly and so hard the only way they would try to stop him would be to try to impeach him or hinder him through false accusations. Instead of giving into their plots, President trump just kept planning for the future of America. His strength and vitality at 74 years old has been quite amazing. I have never seen a president do rallies with tens of thousands of people attending even up to five a day. The Samson like strength has been on display the last five years. Has he been politically correct? No. Does he function like a politician ? No. Does he resemble your local Sunday school teacher? No. Is he effective in getting things done? A resounding Yes! The Election
To those who are celebrating a victory by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, I would urge you to temper it with sobriety knowing that there’s a lot of litigation going on. When all the legal votes are counted we will see who wins. Also the media does not have the right to declare a president. A president is not a president until he puts his hand on the Bible and makes a vow to uphold the Constitution. To those of you who remember the year 2000. Al gore celebrated a victory. However, when the final votes were counted by mid December out of Florida, George W Bush won the presidency.
To those of you who are sad over President Trump not being seemingly reelected, I say to you, remember who is Lord and put your focus on the King of every King the Lord of every Lord. Be thankful that truth and justice will prevail. be thankful for the electoral process,be thankful that God‘s will is going to be done as we have prayed. To all of us at Oasis, we are a family of faith. Our faith is in Jesus. The vision for Oasis and the church will march on. I trust we will join together in this faith journey I really don’t want to talk about it during service. While I feel very passionate about some things, my hope is in the Lord.
GDP AND GDP
with all the fear and worries about COVID-19 you wonder if there’s any good news going on in the world. Recently it was revealed that our GDP was at 33%. That is an amazing number. For those of us just learning about what this means, GDP stands for a gross domestic product. It is a major indicator of economic growth in the American economy. It shows that we are making a major comeback. To understand it fully, if we look back the average GDP runs around 2 to 3%.
TheRe is another GDP on the move And it has to do with the power of God in America. I like to call it “God Doing Powerfully”. Often a pullback is a set up for a comeback. We can also say a setback can be positioning us for a set up. Perhaps you have felt a deep setback in some area of your life. Hold on a set up is coming. Romans 8:28 say “we know all things work together for the good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose.”

The Abraham Accord
The Abraham Accord is the treaty signed between the United Arab Emirates and Israel. The Bad news is much of the Arab world does not acknowledge the right for Israel to edxist, the relationship has been much less hostile over the recent years. this accord has provided a pathway to mutual prosperity and acceptance. It is a path for some peace of the Middle East. While some may think of this as a pathway for the soon to come antichrist, I believe our focus would be wrong to do that. It is important to remember that we are called to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. In doing so, ought we not be confident that God will answer?
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! "May they be secure who love you! Psalm 122:6 ESV
What is the ultimate goal from God’s perspective? Is it not getting the gospel out to the four corners of the earth? While the Muslim and Jewish faith do not believe Jesus is their prophet or Savior, this peace accord could be the pathway for the gospel to get freely across the Middle East. As most of you know, many of the Islamic countries are hostile to the Christian faith. Some more then less. It is interesting that a man from a Christian nation President Donald Trump was used to broker this deal. The Bible calls peacemakers Sons of God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Matthew 5:9 ESV
I believe this Accord was an effort between all three major faiths. President Trump’s son-in-law Jared, a Jewish man, was instrumental in helping to bring this to pass. We need to keep in mind that when God spoke a blessing over Isaac (Abraham’s Son), He also spoke a blessing over Ishmael. It was through Isaac that the Messiah was to come and Abraham’s offspring to be multiplied. Ishmael was also blessed and told that he would increase mightily and indeed he did. The reason this Accord is called the Abraham Accord is because all three major faiths have their roots in the faith of Abraham. The blessing of Abraham was that all the families in the earth would be blessed.
I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed. Genesis 12:3 ESV
As Christians we believe Christ redeemed us from the curse, becoming a curse for us, that we might receive the blessing of Abraham and the promise of the Spirit.
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree"— so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.”Galatians 3:13-14 ESV
Gentiles were not part of that blessing. Through faith in Jesus Christ and his finished work on the cross, the Gentiles are now included in the blessing. The Abraham Accord may not affect us much personally, but it is a sign of things to come. In times of relative peace, the gospel can freely go through the nations. When Rome reigned during the Pax Romana, the gospel was free to flow from nation to nation. The early church expanded and grew. Yes there was persecution, yes there was hostility but the Pax Romana provided a pathway to the proliferation of the gospel. Israel is like a time piece in the earth. As we watch Israel, we can ascertain the seasons and times of Jesus’ Church in the world. The rebirth of the nation Israel in 1948, was a significant time piece in the earth. I believe the Church of Jesus Christ and her forward momentum correlates with Israel’s. I believe the second coming of Jesus is soon. However, I also believe, in a great awakening to God and a season of Kingdom order in the earth for the furtherance of the gospel. That is what I’m praying for. I hope you are too! God desires all men to be saved and come to a knowledge of the truth. He is not willing that any should perish.
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 KJV
As you know, God so loved the world that He gave His Son Jesus, that whoever believes would not perish but have eternal life. Let’s continue to pray for our president, his cabinet, the peace of Jerusalem and for salvation to come to the Arab nations in Jesus name. May the blessing of Abraham be upon you! The Awokening Or
The Great Awakening
For every true move of God there is a counterfeit move that seeks to undermine the genuine. Moses appears before Pharaoh and performs several miracles. Pharaoh’s magicians seek to mimic the snakes, the blood and the frogs. After the frogs, their ability to mimic ceased. Not only that, but Moses’ rod (that turned into a serpent) ate pharaoh’s magicians (snake). The Prophets have been speaking of a last Great Awakening. Satan, hearing this, seeks to undermine the legitimate with the false or illegitimate “awokening”. A former President actually called the Woke movement a “great awakening”. The true move of God does not fight against flesh and blood. It will not be violent toward its neighbors. The true Awakening awakens the human heart to God. The human heart comes to God through Jesus Christ for the first time or returns back to the Father God. It will produce the fruit of honor and love to humanity. A false movement will fail to display the qualities of love for God in Christ and good will toward humanity. Jesus said “You will know them by their fruits”. Many Christians are deceived into following these false movements to help shoulder social justice. They call themselves “Social Justice Warriors”. Woke means “alert to injustice in society, especially racism”. I believe we are to be those who speak up for injustice and cry out for mercy. However, much of this is done at the expense of other peoples property, reputation and future. There is a “cancel culture’ that seeks to destroy the future of those that disagree with their beliefs. The book of Micah addresses social ills. “He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?” Micah 6:8 NKJV . Justice without mercy is anarchy and mercy without humility is false humility. True humility remembers that God is full of mercy. In other words, where would we be if it was not for the mercy of God. When we look to our forefathers and see their faults, do we judge tear down their statues, or show mercy and learn from them? According to Epistle of James “mercy triumphs over judgment”. While our forefathers have not been perfect, they have made sacrifices and paved the way for the great country we have today. I am sure 150 years from now our great great grandchildren will look back at us and think we might have been reprobates for some of the things we’ve allowed or condoned in our society. God is giving America a chance for another great awakening so we can see the blessing come upon our children and our great grandchildren unto 1000 generations. Every prayer we pray, every act of justice and kindness, every display of mercy and every time we humbly come before God and before others we are setting the stage for a great awakening in our country which provides a bright future for our children. We should be careful what we call an “Awakening”. We will know any movement by their fruits. In a true move of God, the Holy Spirit will move in dramatic ways. New births in Christ will emerge, the in the Holy Spirit will be poured out and miracle healings will occur. Pastor Laurie and I were awakened to God in the 70’s, during the Charismatic Renewal (An Awakening to the Holy Spirit). When the Berlin Wall came down in 1989, ( a non violent event), I believe that was a result of world wide prayer and intersession of the Church of Jesus Christ. Millions prayed over communist countries and their leadership. As we continue to pray, we are seeing the Church come alive in places like China and Iran. Iran has the fastest growing movement of Christianity in the world. Without a new birth in Christ, we may change laws but we will never change hearts or racism. Racism can be defined as a spirit of division. All division comes from a war between the spirit and the flesh (the human selfishness, and reliance on ones own righteousness). Riots Or Rest
What do these two words Riot and Rest have to do with each other? They are polar opposites. That is just the point. For the most part, first responders, police, national guard, clergy and local politicians are called to stand in harms way. However,there are corrupt authorities as was seen in the death of George Floyd. Our prayers are with his family. All this must be judged and exposed. In the midst of all this, it is important for us to remain in God’s rest. Remaining in rest is not carelessness. It is obedience to a life of faith. Riots arise from unrest. Unrest in the heart, politics and economy. In addition, there is unrest due to the pandemic. We as believers are to enter into the rest of faith. When anger and hate festers, it creates unrest. Often many feel shortchanged in an unfair world. Jesus never said the world would be fair. God is fair and just in all His ways. We rest in that. We pray for our leaders, those in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life or a life in inner rest. “I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.” 1 Timothy 2:1-4 NLT. Is it possible to be in peace and internal rest with all that is happening this year? A resounding yes! “I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me (Jesus). Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I (Jesus) have overcome the world.”” John 16:33 NLT. Inner peace with outer turmoil. Sounds impossible right? The Christian faith is a humanly impossible faith. It is a supernatural faith. The Christian faith is empowered with supernatural power as we yield to Almighty God. Jesus and the disciples ministered in precarious times. Yet, Jesus and the disciples preached peace. The Gospel is a Gospel of peace. Jesus one time spoke to a storm and said peace be still. At His command the wind and the seas obeyed Him. We are Sons and daughters of God. We are peacemakers. “Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.”

The Holy Spirit spoke to me at the beginning of the new year. He said “ it’s not what’s going to happen to you this year that matters, as much as what’s going to happen through you”. I realize now why He said that. It does not matter what happens to us this year as much how we respond to what happens. Today, we are in the midst of a national emergency and many are not responding but are reacting. The panic concerning the virus and the economy is worse than the actual virus or economic pressures. The bad news is, that there are some that have died through this virus and some that are struggling with the symptoms of the coronavirus. That is sad indeed. The good news is that our Heavenly Father is our healer and wants to protect us through the fire, through the Valley and through the darkness. Sometimes we are delivered out of trouble and sometimes we are delivered while we go through the trouble. Two verses of scripture stand out. One is Psalm 23:4 “Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I fear no evil”. The second is from Isaiah 43:2 “I will walk through the fire and not be burned”.

On another note, I think we should keep in mind that America is going through a rebirthing process. There are changes coming to America. America’s spiritual condition, economic condition and our social condition are being transformed. It can be very unsettling to watch the transformation process. Word weapons to Conquer Fear of Virus, Rise of Socialism and Market Downturn
For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:4 ESV We face a war of words. The choice is ours as to what we believe and say. Will we chose the Word Of God as final authority in our lives? I believe now more than ever we should. We are facing three battle zones that have been on the increase in the last few months. Below they are listed and with them mighty weapons to crush them! 1.The Corona virus. Corona is a word that describes a circle of light seen around the sun or moon due to the diffraction by water particles. The virus seeks to consume the conversation around the populations ( waters ) of the earth. Weapon ( say this out loud) As I reverence Your name, You, mighty Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in Your wings. (Mal 4:2) 2. The threat of a Market crash. On Feb 29th the market had it’s lowest one day loss in history. Fear not, get ready for another record breaking year. Weapon ( say this out loud) I will not fear, when I walk through the Fire I will not be burned up. (Is 43:2) 3.Threat of socialist takeover. The Democratic Party has launched a campaign to undermine free enterprise and put more power into the government’s hands. Weapon,(say this) We Trust You Lord and the wicked will not rule the land of the godly. Psalm 125 :1&3.
Incompatibility
Recently, I read where the openly homosexual candidate for president, Pete Buttigieg called Christian trump supporters confused. His actual statement inferred that to be a Christian Trump supporter, is incompatible with scripture. Really?, the only confused person is Pete. He touts a Christian Faith, while being married to another man, I think he should look in the mirror.
Nowhere in scripture is homosexuality supported even remotely. In the beginning, God made them male and Female. He made them Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve. For years we have had to put up with the rhetoric of the militant gay communiTy. They say that God made them the way they are. They go as far to say that Jesus never spoke against it. Actually, He never spoke for it. He simply quoted from Genesis that “ in the beginning God made them both male and female”. He promoted heterosexual marriage. Paul went on to say that God gave men up to “vile” passions. (Romans 1). Instead of longing for a wife they began lusting after other men.
I do not need a homosexual pervert telling me how to practice my Christianity. I am a believer in equal rights. I do not believe in extra rights for people who prefer to practice abnormal behavior. We have had to handle the homosexual community with kit gloves over the last administration. It is time the gloves come off and we stand for righteousness. I know we do not fight against flesh and blood. We do have to overcome with one of the spiritual armor pieces. The belt of truth.
The platform of the liberal left is anti God, open borders and infanticide. As a Christian, to openly support that agenda is vile in my opinion. However, the good news is we live in a free America where we are free to vote our beliefs. This ex mayor seeks to lecture Christians, that their choice of president Trump is some how morally deficient. I would say look at his record. He is fighting for job creation for every race, color and creed, honoring our vets, protecting our borders (respecting those who come in here legally like most of our forefathers), and defending the unborn. The marginalized are being fought for. Former Mayor Pete is sadly misled.

Still the storms of life
Wow! So many stories to choose from and yet in so many ways the same story. Whether it is the coronavirus, or the impeachment process, The UNCERTAINTY of an election year, the threat of socialism or Unrest in the Middle East.
When we focus on problems they seem insurmountable. Jesus reminds us to focus first the Kingdom of God. After that, All things are added to us. Any nation, Kingdom, state, city, family or individual who seeks first Kingdom order, God will intervene and promote peace and security to whatever the challenge is. I think of the great city of Nineveh. Jonah was given the task of preaching repentance and Nineveh responded in heartfelt sorrow. God spared the city. When Abraham interceded for Sodom and Gomorrah, God would have spared the city for 5 righteous people. Are you and I willing to be the catalyst for change? First in prayer, then in actions of love and kindness. We have the privilege to be co laborers with Christ. When we read in the Old Testament we see God qualifies His blessings based on the humility and sincere prayer life of His people.

I think the media thrives on so much of this speculation. For us to listen to it becomes nothing but aggravation. As believers we need to believe the good news that God is the one who does the exaltation. As people who pray for our leaders and trust God to raise them up, we must believe that God takes our prayers seriously. A scripture in Psalms teaches us that promotion comes from the Lord..
“do not lift up your horn on high, or speak with haughty neck.'" For not from the east or from the west and not from the wilderness comes lifting up, but it is God who executes judgment, putting down one and lifting up another.”
Psalms 75:5-7 ESV
This scripture especially works when God’s people are doing what he asked in 1 Timothy 2.
“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
1 Timothy 2:1-4 ESV
Whether you like President Trump or not, he is the one in the office right now. It is the believers duty to pray that God would give him wisdom, his cabinet wisdom, Congress wisdom and the Senate wisdom to do their job. If the leaders do not listen to God‘s guidance they will be judged and removed. So the bigger question once again is not impeacHment but will we pray or not pray. That is the question. It is the ploy of the devil to get Christians sidetracked in political debates and arguments. As long as he can do that, they will neglect their duty to pray every day for those in authority. So the good news is there’s hope for the believer. The believer does not have to become anxious and worried over these aggravating debates of impeachment. The believer can instead pray and believe God to carry out his word and exalt the man or the woman to be in the positions of authority that need to be for this time in history. The gospel must get to the four corners of the earth. I remember when the Berlin Wall came down and the USSR was dismantled. The Gospel began to flow freely into these formally closed nations. Other very hostile nations will begin to open up.
You may ask me what do you thinks going to happen Pastor? As I have prayed and waited on the Lord I believe no weapon formed against our president will prosper and we will see another four years of God using this president to get the plan of God in place. This will be for the gospel to freely flow to nations that have never heard the gospel. That is what I believe and I believe in good news in a bad news world

NOTHING HAPPENS IN A VACUUM
The recent shooting in El Paso Texas is another horrible event along a long list of horrific mass shootings.
In America we have close to 40,000 gun related deaths. This includes suicide. That means that there are close to 800 gun deaths a day in America. Most of these other 780 deaths that occurred the day of El Paso’s shooting go unreported on a national level However, each life is a precious life.
So what is the good news in this bad news world. Well, the biggest challenge that hits all of us is this feeling of anxiety and fear that tries to hit our minds and hearts after such things happen. Jesus made it very clear by saying....
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”
John 14:27 ESV
This verse tells us that we can let it be afraid or not. We do have a choice. I think our first line of defense or offense is prayer. Prayer over our cities our neighborhoods, our town, our state and our nation. Prayer for our leaders and first responders. Prayer for our Churches and leaders. In that prayer we make declarations of praise, protection, we plead the blood over our neighborhoods and families. Quoting Psalm 91 for example.
Our second line of defense Is teaching our children to guard their minds and hearts from violence and what they watch and what they hear. Nothing happens in a vacuum. Everything starts in seed form. Wickedness is conceived in the heart then the life becomes pregnant with mischief and then gives birth to horrible sin.
“Behold, the wicked man conceives evil and is pregnant with mischief and gives birth to lies.”
Psalms 7:14 ESV
The Next line of defense but not the least, is the power of the gospel and the love of God. Often a life can be snatched from a life of violence when One hears the gospel and turns their heart over to God. Many an angry young man or woman can have their hearts softened by the love of God.
Of course, our schools and our first responders and our politicians have their part and we are thankful for what they do. May the peace of Christ Gaurd your hearts and minds.

Termination Of Life
just recently, the New York state governor signed a BILL that will allow for late term abortions. That means Up until nine months of pregnancY. this is a Dark action by any government. Let’s keep in mind as horrible as this is, it is not the SIn unto deatH. The sin untO death (rejection of Jesus) Leads to an eternity in hell. The rejection of Jesus Christ is the root problem of any society. Some claim to know God, but to terminate life like this legislative action, is proof positive that God is not known. Scriptures teach us that He that loves not, does not know God, because God is love.

The God of love will not terminate the life of An unborn child. Of course we must believe that life begins at conception.

THE SUPREME COURT NOMINATION
With the political theater In full display during the nomination of Bret Kavenough, one could get very disillusioned by the partisan politics. The bad news is a young family was dragged through the mud. Caught in the crossfire of a very polarized government and nation, Judge Kavenough made his case for innocence. The mudslinging of this beautiful man and His Family is bad news for the American due process of law, “innocent till proven guilty.”
The good news is we saw an honorable man testify before the senate judiciary committee, the US Senate and the entire nation. As he defended the honor of his family, his faith, his fidelity and his friends. I was riveted to his testimony. I felt like I was hearing one of Christ’s disciples testify before magistrates. It was powerful as he called out the ungodly, unfair and unreasonable accusations. He was also gracious to his accuser as he did not deny something could of happened to Dr. Ford his accuser. Yet completely denied his involvement. in fact, his impassioned testimony of his daughter’s desire to pray for his accuser brought me to tears. The world needed to hear his life story, his friend’s affirmations, his parental admiration, and his defense of an amazing and impeccable career.
Thank you Mr Kavenough for not backing down.

Where were you on 9/11?
An anniversay to remember. All of us who were old enough to remember, know exactly where they where on 9/11 2001. My wife was in a meeting at the church. There she remembers telling the ladies with small children. “America is under attack go get your babies”
I was at a new location for our church. I was doing demolition work with a NYC Fireman. As soon as we heard, he was off to ground zero. Most run to hide but not first responders. They run to the problem. Today we have several members of our communities who awaited anxiously to hear of the whereabouts and fate of their loved ones. Today, we grieve with our community members and vow to always remember and learn from that infamous day.
We do not need another 9/11 to keep us humble as some may think, preach or proliferate.
We do need to remember and keep sober minded
Our Jewish friends celebrate feasts such as Purim, Pentecost, tabernacles and especially Passover to remind future generations of their great deliverance from Egypt. This year 9/11 happened to fall on Rosh Hashanah The Jewish new year It is a day of prayer, a time to ask the Almighty to grant us a year of peace, prosperity and blessing. But it is also a joyous day when we proclaim God King of the Universe. Rosh Hashanah, literally means the “ beginning of the year. The Biblical name for this Holiday is Yom Teruah, literally “ A day of shouting/blasting”. It is the first Jewish High Holy celebration.
In our Christian faith, we have communion to remember the great sacrifice made by our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross for the our salvation and the gift of new and eternal life Our responsibility is to remember. Our responsibility is to teach the next generation who were not old enough to understand or were not even born. Some are entering college this year where they may learn all kinds of ideas of what happened that day. We need to remind them of the things we saw, the things we felt and experienced. We do this like the great generation before us, some of whom are still alive to this day that remind us of WW 11, Pearl Harbor, the Holocaust, the Korean War or Vietnam.
The good news is our due diligence to remember, helps our chances of a brighter future for tomorrow. Let's take time to remember our local community members who have served to protect our freedoms, who have served at ground zero as first responders and finally, we also want extend our deepest condolences to those who have suffered the loss of a loved one during that fateful day here in our local communities. We want to extend our thoughts and prayers for those who continue to suffer from grief, residual illness or death due to exposure to the toxins in and around ground zero . Finally to our brave soldiers who serve and protect our way of life here in America.
WHY VOTE?
The American political environment has become very polarized. Each party hes selected specific platforms on which to stand. You may like someone’s smile personality or education and want to vote for them. However, that can be dangerous. Behind the personality and the education or beautiful smile is an agenda. It is important to know what platform we are voting for
This is not like fantasy football where we can try and put a team together to work for the betterment of our country. Our vote Is a vote for a platform not a person. So before we vote, we must do our due diligence to understand a candidates stance on the issues. To be an uninformed voter, is to be a victim of ignorance. Ignorance has destroyed many nations and many of people. Daniel 4:6 says. “ my people are destroyed for the lack of knowledge “
The good news is that we are able to be more informed about candidates than ever before. In some ways it is even good that it has become so polarized. The truth of the agenders of each party is now clearly seen. As a Christian, we must now determine what our true beliefs and values are.
For example, if you believe life begins at conception, then the party that believes a woman can terminate her pregnancy even up to the third trimester should be very telling. No matter how intelligent it may sound, it is the ending of one’s life. A candidate who believes in “choice” needs to be scrutinized for their core beliefs. So when we pray and when we vote you can now see clearly where someone stands on very important issues.
Just so you know, the Republican Party has been standing for life for many years. In contrast, the Democratic Party has moved further and further away from the reality that life begins at conception. They push hard for “women’s rights” yet destroy the life of the child. They push for open borders while closing opportunities for law abiding citizens. They want the constitution to be a living document changing with the times, rather than a document that guides us and protects us for years to come.

Why trade wars?
To everything there’s a season and a time for every purpose under Heaven. (Ecl 3) It is time for a balanced trade agreement with our partners in trade. Much speculation, fear, and apprehension are being communicated by media and leaders. I am confident though God’s order will come. This will include fair and balanced trade relations. Trade is overwhelmingly a good thing when it is fair, balanced and reciprocal. When the scales of trade get corrupt, injustice and inequity erupt. I know we’ve all had enough of war especially after 15 years in the Middle East. The term war can be very unsettling to most of us. However, it is important to confront injustice and inequity when found. This trade war should not produce a military war. I want to bring out a verse of Scripture found in Proverbs to make a simple point.
“The Lord detests the use of dishonest scales, but he delights in accurate weights.”
Proverbs 11:1 NLT
It is interesting that this verse is in the Bible. It shows that God watches over how people trade and use their finances. One time Jesus watched as money was being put in the offering box at the temple. He noticed an older woman putting in a small amount of money.
“Jesus sat down near the collection box in the Temple and watched as the crowds dropped in their money. Many rich people put in large amounts. Then a poor widow came and dropped in two small coins. Jesus called his disciples to him and said, “I tell you the truth, this poor widow has given more than all the others who are making contributions. For they gave a tiny part of their surplus, but she, poor as she is, has given everything she had to live on.””
Mark 12:41-44 NLT
Whether we like it or not there is a war that is on for the soul of man. It is the god of mammon seeking to take over every man, woman and child. As Christians, we know that money is not the root of all evil but instead the love of money is indeed the root of all evil. By confronting these unjust scales in trade, it is only normal for a “trade” war to break out. I trust it will end quickly. Let’s do as the Bible says and pray for leaders in doing so we can live a peaceful life in all godliness. May God grant our president and his financial leaders wisdom and all they do. (1Timothy 2) In the meantime. We should do justly love mercy and walk humbly with our God.

The good news in all of this? I believe a just balance will be established in our trade agreements.
The Constitution a vision for our nation as the Bible is a vision for God’s people
A recent Supreme Court decision was made in favor of a baker’s right to not design a wedding cake for a homosexual couple. The couple was free to buy any cake they wish. The Baker’s personal convictions are that marriage is between one man and one woman.
The court decision honored their choice to honor their Christian convictions. Supreme court justice Joseph Kennedy made a statement that says “tolerance works both ways.”
The Constitution is either interpreted literally or progressively as a “living document”. The Constitution was written to safeguard the freedoms of our culture from the tyranny of a monarchy, emperor or a dictator. The constitution was written to be a check and balance against the abuse of government. It was written to ensure freedoms to all Americans.
The constitution is not a living document based on the morays of the current culture. The problem with a living document is that it destroys the purpose of the constitution. It is like calling the Bible a living document that can change with society in anyway it chooses. A living document will redifine marriage, redefine how we address God, redefine the purpose of the church and most hideously redefine the things that Jesus spoke.
When a Supreme Court justice is appointed based on his conservative values and the way he interprets constitution, this can affect history in a major way. A president that will choose a Supreme Court justice who is a constitutionalist preserves the history and protection for freedom loving Americans. One of the major reasons we voted for president Donald Trump was because he did commit to appoint conservative justices.
The Word of God is our constitution. It is to interpret us and challenge us to godly living. We do need to understand culture and history to understand much of what was going on in biblical times, The simple truths in scripture are timeless, life-saving and challenge us all to live a godly lives.The constitution secures God’s divine prosperity. Divine prosperity is secured by a vision. Without a vision people perish.

Lessons from the Alabama election?
Just because someone is a Christian, can quote Bible verses and speak Christianese does not mean that they are electable, hirable or deserve to be in public service of any type. We are told in scripture that we should live sharp as serpents and innocent as doves. We are told to live wisely with those who are without faith or live outside the camp with faith. This does not mean that we forsake our faith, compromise our faith or give into worldly standards. It simply means that we are to be shrewd, discerning and wise. The things of the spirit are foolishness to the those of the world. We should expect that from the world. The world will never understand the beauty of Jesus until they come to him. In the meantime, we need to occupy until Jesus comes. We need to be smart in our dealings with the world. We should serve in any capacity with dignity respect, love and peace. If God opens a door for us to serve in public service or in an elected office, we can do so in such wisdom that it cannot be debated. Despite his apparent failings, I believe our president Donald Trump is a believer. I believe his wife Melania is a believer. I also believe President Trump was more electable than all 17 of the other candidates. That was due to shrewdness, wisdom and application of the use of information in the election process. What is the good news for us? The good news is that we are in the world but not of it. The good news is that we can be sharp serpents innocent as doves. The good news is God wants to use us in public office or public service or on our jobs wherever that may be. Let’s continue to pray for wisdom as we walk in this world. Let’s continue to pray to the Lord to use us in this world to be light, salt and a continued expression of Christ in the earth.

Artificial intelligence
I was recently reading an article in Time magazine concerning artificial intelligence. While being amazed where we have come and where we are going in this area, I was also made alert to the fact that one day this system will become all consuming. Believers must arm themselves with the Word of God and prayer in order to contend for his or her faith.
This beast system one day will demand worship. Right now there will be many benefits to help mankind. But one day it will require us to yield to its demands with a mark. This mark will limit what we can buy and sell unless we have it. It could be a chip implanted in the hand or the forehead in order to buy and sell. This is already happening in some business environments. Some employees are opting to have chips planted beneath their skin to access their workplace. Look at the way our "smart" phones affect our lives. While the benefits of communication are real and true, the hypnotic affect is also very real. Just watch people socialize. Instead of talking, many are just staring at their phone looking at the latest text or note posted on Facebook. This is not fear mongering, but it is an awareness. There is nothing new under the sun, as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be when the Son of Man comes. In like manner, as it was in the days of the Tower of Babel so will it be when the Son of Man comes. Men will continue to build his towers to the sky. This is not just building towers, but information towers. Artificial intelligence will continue to expand at an alarming rate. According to Moore's law. It will be doubling every 10 years. While many will be helped there will come a time where it will demand worship. If the believer is not prepared, he or she will be deceived. Lying signs and wonders will take the world by storm. And so much that even the elect could be deceived. On the other side, is the army of God fully prepared, fully equipped. The army of God operating in the gifts of the spirit without scarcity. Signs and wonders, demonstrations of the spirit and power, to help people not trust in the wisdom of man but the power of God. The social ills will always continue because the sin nature can only be resolved through the new birth. That is something the autonomous revolution can not manufacture or fix. Artificial intelligence can only speed up knowledge but not heal heart matters or societies' social and spiritual ills. The key to operating in the future is being in the Word and in a state of prayer and worship. (especially praying in tongues) This is not an option it is absolute survival. The true believer sees the big picture and is not deceived by the accomplishments of men. The believer uses these new technologies to benefit man and get the gospel to the four corners of the earth. However, he or she is aware that man and the beast system wants to be worshipped. This may take 30-40 years to fully manifest. However, the beast system is here among us now. So as Jesus said, and warned us, pray that you may escape these things. Pray that you might not be tempted above what you're able. Worship continually to remind yourself that there is only one God and man is mere grass and all his glory is like the flower of the grass.
“A voice said, “Shout!” I asked, “What should I shout?” “Shout that people are like the grass. Their beauty fades as quickly as the flowers in a field. The grass withers and the flowers fade beneath the breath of the Lord. And so it is with people. The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the word of our God stands forever.””

Follow the money!
As investigators scramble to find answers for the worst massacre in US history, Scripture teaches us that " the love of money is the root of all evil." 1 Timothy 6:10. I'm sure much will be exposed as they follow the money trail for this man's life. From abortion to zealots of radical Islamic terrorism, the love of money is at the root of all this evil. As investigators follow this money trail, so much will be unfolded. While riches in and of themselves are not evil, there is a deceitfulness that goes with riches. Believers must guard themselves from deceitfulness of riches. If not, it will choke out the Word of God in their lives.
As worshipers of God, we exalt the Lord our God above the god of mammon. The deceitfulness of riches cannot take hold of us. The good news is, money is a tool that God wants to bless us with to do good in the earth. If the love of money is the root of all evil, the proper use and proper attitude of money can be a root of all good. God bless you and may God's grace be on you spirit, soul and body.

Who is North Korea and Kim Jong-un?
North Korea is the birth child of the communist manifesto. It's now currently the rogue son of China and Russia. It has been allowed to function as an addicted drug addict to power while being enabled by China and Russia. Their lack of disciplinary actions and training have left North Korea to become A rogue insecure nation trying to flex it's muscles around the Asian community and America without consequence. It is time to have intervention and bring this prodigal home.
In the 1800s North Korea was considered the Jerusalem of the east. It has left its first love and embraced the god of secular humanism and communism. The current leader's father watched as a young boy, his mother sleep in church and came to the conclusion that there is no power in the church. As a result he chose to embrace the communist manifesto as his dogma. North Korea's current leader and his nation are one of the few last hold outs to communism. It's fate is certain. The Communist manifesto is a failure. There is no nation that has succeeded under its reign without embracing an openness to democracy of some sort. While this nation starves it's people to build it's military the God of heaven who sees all, and knows all will take him out and raise up another. There is no power but God. He raises up one and puts down another. So the good news is fear not. If God can take a king like Nebuchadnezzar who's pride destroyed him and made him become as a beast of the field for seven years, till he finally acknowledged the true God of Heaven, I am sure the God of heaven who sees all and knows all and is all powerful, will bring this man to his knees.
This bastard son of communism shall face the judgment of an almighty just God.

Honor : Our Path To Strength and Longevity
A Memorial Day Message!
We are the land of the free and the home of the brave we are the land where we declare all men are created equal and have the In alienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We have the right and freedom to assemble, the right to bear arms, the right to freedom of speech and amongst many other freedoms the freedom of worship. Today we honor those who have defended these rights and freedoms with either the ultimate sacrifice or a lifetime of ultimate service to our community's and nation. One of the sins of our time is that we can forget Forget the sacrifices that of been made, forget that liberties have come with the cost. Forget that we have not always enjoyed these freedoms. Yes it's right to celebrate to take time off to be with family to have fun. It is a way of honoring those who have secured our freedoms. But it is the essential duty of our communities, state and of our nation to remember to memorialize, to give Honor. Our assembly today is not just a tradition it is the duty and it is the security and longevity of these freedoms we so love and adore. The God of heaven will hold us accountable to a life of honor. Any nation that does not honor father and mother nor honor those who make great sacrifices for others is bound to failure. Today, we gather here to carry out the duty to remember. May God continue to bless this great nation, this great community, our veterans and their families, all first responders, our community faith and civic leaders and the Patchogue Fire Department

Are we under surveillance?
The good news in a bad news world is that you and I are constantly under surveillance. The eyes of our Father are over all the earth seeing the good and the evil. His eyes are on the righteous and His ears open to our prayers. He guides us with His loving eyes upon us and His eyes never miss a sparrow that falls from the sky. How much more is He watching us. So we are under surveillance. As the world is seeking to determine what happened pre-election in the Trump administration, we must as Christians continue to pray for truth to surface and God's will to be done. We are also reminded that God's eyes are upon us at all times. Since we live in the reverence of the Lord and respect towards God. We are not being afraid of the world's pursuit to know everything about us. We are conscious of His presence and his loving eyes upon us at all times, guiding us and directing us in all our concerns of life. Some people are concerned that "big brother"is watching. I have no fear concerning that because I know I'm already being watched all the time and I live accordingly. We have nothing to fear, our Father is watching.
Borders or no borders that is the question?
One of the greatest perseveres of neighborhood peace are property fences. The local municipalities go to great lengths to protect the boundaries of individual property. In fact, there are special laws that protect neighbors from encroaching on their neighbors property line. To build an extension on your house that come within a certain feet of your neighbor it requires a variance. the neighbors must be notified and agree to the project.
Why we are so upset over a nation having healthy and strong borders is beyond me. We all usually go to bed at night and lock our doors to protect ourselves from unwanted quests or criminals. Some how I believe we have mis construed national boundaries with being self absorbed. When the Lord made the seas He gave it boundaries. When he ordered the formation of the twelve tribes of Israel, He gave them borders. When nations are formed He gave them borders. In fact, every psychotherapist will tell you a key to emotional health is healthy boundaries. Children are more secure with boundaries. Why all the fuss in our nation. We are a nation of law and order to protect the citizenry of the great USA. That is the presidents first job assignment. Let's pray for our leaders to make wise and prudent decisions.
Attack On Children A Christmas Story
In a very polarized population here in the US, it can be hard to determine right from wrong, good verses bad, light verses darkness. Most of us can agree that life is to be respected and honored. It is interesting as we enter the Christmas season to see that many social ills are simply refabricated over thousands of years. Same problem just under a different name or reason. What am I saying?
We are reminded during Christmas of the birth of Christ. We reflect on all the stories that made that event become a reality. One particular event was the edict sent forth by the then king of Judea. King Herod hosted a visit by the Magi from the east who followed a star to the Christ child. After learning of the advent of a king being born, Herod in a fit of jealous rage had all the male children killed ages two and younger. Herod could not get the exact location from the magi who on purpose did not disclose it knowing his insane jealousy. It was a horrible event in history. Those little boys became martyrs for Christ I am sure they have a special place in the kingdom of God as do all martyres.

Then Herod summoned the wise men secretly and ascertained from them what time the star had appeared.
And being warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they departed to their own country by another way.

Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, “Rise, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you, for Herod is about to search for the child, to destroy him.”

and remained there until the death of Herod. This was to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet, “Out of Egypt I called my son.”
Then Herod, when he saw that he had been tricked by the wise men, became furious, and he sent and killed all the male children in Bethlehem and in all that region who were two years old or under, according to the time that he had ascertained from the wise men.
A similar event occured in the days of Moses's birth. The children of Israel's population swelled in Egypt. The current Pharoah did not remember Joseph and began to be threatened by Isreal's population explosion. He feared they would one day rebel againt Egyptian slavery and overtake Egypt. So what does Pharoah do? He devises a plan to systematically kill all male newborns. Sound familiar?

“When you serve as midwife to the Hebrew women and see them on the birthstool, if it is a son, you shall kill him, but if it is a daughter, she shall live.”

But the midwives feared God and did not do as the king of Egypt commanded them, but let the male children live.

Then Pharaoh commanded all his people, “Every son that is born to the Hebrews[fn] you shall cast into the Nile, but you shall let every daughter live.”
In our modern culture, man has devised a plan to curb the "population explosion". What we have is eugenics. Orginizations have been devised to provide modern day killing of the unborn. It has become a very heated topic in politics and among Americans. Many confused Christisn non Christian woman have been wearied into compliance. They have comitted this astrocity. The good news is there is always forgiveness. God's redemptive work can be performed as the men and the women who followed this path repent and aknowledge their child is alive and well, give names to these children in heaven and move on with conviction and passion to protect the unborn.
Many states are trying to curb this hideous act through enacting certain bills to deter the act of abotion. One such bill was recently presented to the Ohio Supreme Court. It was called the "heartbeat Bill". At 6 weeks, a heartbeat can be detected in an unborn child. The bill would make abortions illegal once a heartbeat is detected. The bill was not signed by the governor due to the fact that many law suits would be incurred if he did so. Really? What is a child's life worth?
At least he signed another bill hindering abortions after 20 weeks. We are making slow progree as science and governments prove that an unborn can feel pain thus the act of abortion becomes unveiled for what it is. A hideous act of violence!
The good news is that today we have an administration that will go to bat for the unborn. I know some of you reading may disagree. You may believe a woman should have the right to choose. However, the more science proves that life begins at conception, the more the concience of our nation may wake up. Ultimately, the New Birth in Christ is the ultimate wake up for the concience. However, when the culture of a society continues to justify acts of vilence, it wearies the soul of the saints. Yes, God forgives us for all acts against his word and will, eventually though He will hold a society accountable for how it treats it's children.
The same demonic spirit that went after the small children in Moses' and Jesus' day attacks them today through abortion and abuse.
The good news is that historically out of this evil, good came. Moses led in the delivererance of God's people. Jesus delivered us all from our sins! Only Time will tell about the children who made it through this horrible modern day Holocost. I am thinking of 2 amazing examples. Tim Tebow and Kari Jobe. Both of their mothers were recomended by their doctors to have an abortion. Both refused. Tim a great athlete, whose Christian testimony has affected millions and Kari an amazing worship leader who has lead untold millions into the presence of God through song!

Either way the good news is we are so blessed to have a free country to vote for our leaders. The balance of power in government provides accountability and representation for the masses. When changes come to our personal lives or our nation, we have to adjust and adapt. America has proven to be very adaptable and flexible over the centuries of her existence. We would be foolish to think we will not adapt and grow. A friend once spoke this proverb. "Blessed are the flexible, They will never get bent out of shape." I personally believe we are in a major transition in our country and God is hearing the prayers of His saints. I t would be best to get on board in faith. As Christians, we are to live by faith not by sight. Our trust is in the Lord. I would like to close with a verse from the Book of Psalms.

"Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion which cannot be moved but abide forever. As the mountains are around Jerusalem, so the Lord is around His people from this time forth and forever. The wicked will not rule the land of the godly for then the godly might be tempted to do wrong. "

After a long campaign trail we are winding down to two candidates. I know it can seem nauseating to watch if you indeed do watch, we are called to watch and pray. Please keep in mind after 6,000 years of known history, we have before us the finest form of government ever. Is it perfect?, no of course not but it is the envy of the world. the freedom to debate issues and confront fraud and waste in our government is an enormous advancement in a free society. So who won the first presidential debate? Well, my assignment is not to declare the winner of political debates. I have my opinions for sure. My assignment is to declare the Body of Christ the winners! No matter who wins on the political side of life, we need to keep in mind that the believer is victorious when he or she lives by faith. No man or woman can truly be the answer to society's ills. The man or woman of faith overcomes this world by faith!

A Little Child Shall Lead Them

This past Saturday night, terror attacks broke out in New York, New Jersey, and Minnesota. It is always a bit unsettling. However in children's church, my little granddaughter Hannah, broke out into song all on her own. She began singing that old powerful hymn, "Oh The blood of Jesus". I did not understand the significance till Sunday afternoon when her mom Vanessa showed me the video of Hannah singing in the basement of the Church. Somehow, I believe her spirit led her to sing that song as a song of protection over us all! The devil may have his plans but there are countless vessels of glory awaiting to thwart his plans through songs of deliverance.

Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
Due to the excellent work of law enforcement agencies and the faith of Christ's Church including that of a little child the perpetrator was captured that same day. May we all have the faith of a little child.
Mother Theresa is Canonized!
What a great example of love and compassion to the world. Mother Theresa challenges us all to be the best we can be in our love to others. True religion according to James is to visit the fatherless and the widows in their affliction.

Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
We really do not need to go far to find those who qualify as the fatherless and the widow. many are fatherless because the do not know the heavenly father and many are widow because they are not married to the great husband of the church. We are all challenged by Mother Theresa to act as the saints we are called to be.

What In The world Is Going On?
Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
No Really, what is going on? I am glad you asked. I am not going to pretend to know all the theological answers for our current crisis, in politics, world economy or terrorism. What I would like to point out is what Jesus said in John 16:33
"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."
Jesus came as a man and was tempted like a man in every way conceivable and beyond. Yes at all points He was tempted, says Hebrews, yet without sin. Jesus has faced every crisis we have or ever will have. In each case, He overcame. Therefore, He has the authority to teach us how to overcome as He did. Tribulations are unavoidable, they are a constant in the world. To overcome and beat this fact we must face them with a stronger and more enduring constant. That constant is the Spirit anointed Word of God in our hearts and in our mouths.
"The grass will wither and the flower will fade but the Word of God will stand forever" Isaiah 40:8.
When we place the inspired Word in our mouths, stand on His righteousness, remaining fearless of death, we will be positioned to overcome. To overcome simply means to go over, under, around or through whatever comes. We have what it takes ! We can utilize all that Jesus has taught us in precept and example. 1 John 5:4 says this,
"For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, [even] our faith."
Now that we are born of God we have the very nature of Christ in us. We are made of overcomer material. His DNA is in us now. As we see the earth reeling, the seas roaring, the nations trembling, the terrorists attacking, fear not! We have Christ in us, the Hope of Glory !! We love you all and trust the overcomer in you will rise up to meet every challenge that comes your way.
The Persecuted Church
The recent throat slaying of Catholic priest in France is a reminder that Jesus said persecution would come for the Gospel's sake.
Mat 5:11
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Paul said "all those who live Godly in Christ would suffer persecution".
2Ti 3:12
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
So what is the good news with such horrible atrocities? Glad you asked. Jesus said to pray for those who despitefully use you and to bless those who curse you.
Mat 5:44
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
The good news is that good will always overcome evil, love will always overcome hate, grace will always overcome sin and the Christ has fully overcome the antichrist spirit. We need to continue to pray for the persecuted church and not forget them. By lifting our hands to heaven in prayer we support them and God will honor our prayers and deliver many of them.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Declaring War?
Should America and the NATO countries declare war on ISIS? Most of us would be afraid of the thought but it is a necessary evil. Would this be WW111 or the end? I do not think so. While the Radical Islamic terrorists would love to draw all nations into an Armageddon type war, we need to step up and let them know this is not their time, nor satan's. God has a work to do in the earth still. The whole earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. When WW1 and 11 came many thought that was the end. When the war in Iraq occurred, many thought that was the end. When Y2K happened many prepared for the worst. When 9/11 happened I thought that was it . While these are birth pangs, it is not the end yet. Many antichrist figures and organizations will rise and fall. The Islamic terrorist is just another manifestation of the antichrist spirit. It is the job of world leaders to guard and protect their nations much like a good father would protect his home. If someone were to break into a good man's house he would attack to harm and ask questions later. We must go on the offensive now. We as Christians must be aware that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds. We must enforce our victory in Christ over fear , doubt, unbelief and satan himself. Satan is under our feet and the Christian must stand in full armor resisting satan on every front. BE STRONG
Racism
Racism of any type is an indictment against the Lord our Creator. Our declaration of Independence declared that "all men are created equal". Jesus has bridged the gap between races by providing The New Creation. (A race of people that never existed before). A race of people in Him that are of one blood. We have become brothers and sisters in Christ no matter what color or ethnic background we are from

The Dallas Shooting
This the work of the antichrist spirit. Anything that resists the God ordained authorities, is antichrist. God has established order in government. The police are part of that order. In Romans 13 the apostle Paul says the authorities do not bear the sword in vain. They are there to protect those who respect law and order and punish those who do not and take vengeance on evil.
“For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.”
Romans 13:4 KJV
Can those who protect and defend have a few bad apples? Of course. There are bad apples in every area of society, even in the work that I do as a minister. Proverbs says the if we remove the dross from the silver will will have a pure and fine vessel. If we remove the wicked from before the king, his throne will be established in righteousness. thus another call for prayer for God to deal with the wicked. Our prayers go out to the families of the slain officers and those killed by accidental means. It is very hurtful to the soul to see our officers treated like this. We are aware that the antichrist spirit is already in the world. The good news in this bad news world is "greater is He that is in us, than he that is in the world". 1 John 4:4
The Zika Virus
The spread of blood borne disease through mosquitos is nothing knew. While it is alarming, we as Christians are not to fear. We need to resist fear and have our hearts fixed on the Word of God and what it says concerning these things. One of my favorite scriptures is Psalm 91. In that Psalm we find promises concerning plagues. " No plague shall come near my dwelling". Use natural repellents as needed, more importantly use the spiritual repellant of faith

There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
We also need to know how to appropriate the blood of Jesus over our lives and families. Fear is more dangerous than the virus itself. Resist fear on every front by speaking the word and taking authority over it and command it to leave!.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
The Election
While the back and forth battles between candidates can be annoying to our ears, we are so blessed to have free and open elections. We are free to vote prayerfully. The Apostle Paul encouraged his apprentice Timothy to pray. He gave him some very important guidelines in prayer.
1Ti 2:1-4 KLV
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
While it is important to exercise our right to vote, it is essentially more important to exercise our right to pray and use our God given authority to intervene in the affairs of government. I found it interesting during the primaries how some Christians were divided over which candidate was best suited for the Republican nomination. In one camp they prayed and fasted for their candidate to only watch his campaign end. To not vote is in my opinion irresponsible. We must do both. In order importance, prayer comes first.
The Brexit ( Britain's exit from the European union)
Every few decades, the cry for freedom is heard from peoples of various nations. The liberation of the colonies of America from Britain, the liberation of Europe from the Nazis, the end of the cold war and the tumbling of the Berlin wall. We all desire freedom, but the controlling nature of man wants to centralize power. There is only one King under whom all kings and lords will submit. That is the King of Kings and The Lord of Lords Jesus Christ. These changes are the result of a premature gathering of the nations into a one world government under the antichrist. We could be entering an age of another awakening in the world as the cry for not only political independence but spiritual renewal is on the way. I have lived by the water for many years. I have seen the tide go way out at times. As far as it goes out it comes in. We have gone so far out in political correctness and anti Christian attitudes that the tide is moving back in. We need to poise ourselves for another awakening here in America and in the world. This is a great time to stir up our prayer lives and our love for one another.

Orlando; God's Judgement or Just a bad news world
As a Pastor, it is very important to address current events from a heavenly perspective. It is so easy to throw stones, place blame or accuse. What is hard is digging deep to the issues that really matter. To find the things that really matters requires a heart and temperament of meekness. Meekness is power under control. We live in a wicked world where satan is the god. He does not own the earth. He is the god of the cosmos. The atmosphere. He influences the hearts and minds of humans to steal, kill and destroy. The real enemy is first of all satan. The second enemy is the transmission of sin through fathers. Ideology, prejudice, hatred and warped belief systems are all transmitted through our forefathers. It is no secret that the murderer in Orlando had a father sympathetic towards the vicious group we know as the Taliban. While some gun control can help and more thorough vetting of immigrants can help as well, the core issues of demonic powers and sins of the fathers play a more dominant role. The world news will never catch these issues. The Church of Jesus Christ is called to bring these issues to there forefront. In meekness, we must address these issues with the Word of God. Satan has been confronted and his power destroyed through the cross and the precious blood of Jesus. Only Faith In God through Jesus Christ can the curse be broken. God the Holy Spirit brings the hearts of the fathers to the children and the heart of children to the fathers in true righteousness. We as fathers carry a great responsibility. Our humility before God and before our children sets the stage for healing , hope and salvation for our families and our nation. May God's grace heal our nation and the families of those who are suffering from the Orlando terrorist attack.
With the political theater In full display during the nomination of Bret Kavenough, one could get very disillusioned by the partisan politics. The bad news is a young family was dragged through the mud. Caught in the crossfire of a very polarized government and nation, Judge Kavenough made his case for innocence. The mudslinging of this beautiful man and His Family is bad news for the American due process of law, “innocent till proven guilty.”
The good news is we saw an honorable man testify before the senate judiciary committee, the US Senate and the entire nation. As he defended the honor of his family, his faith, his fidelity and his friends. I was riveted to his testimony. I felt like I was hearing one of Christ’s disciples testify before magistrates. It was powerful as he called out the ungodly, unfair and unreasonable accusations. He was also gracious to his accuser as he did not deny something could of happened to Dr. Ford his accuser. Yet completely denied his involvement. in fact, his impassioned testimony of his daughter’s desire to pray for his accuser brought me to tears. The world needed to hear his life story, his friend’s affirmations, his parental admiration, and his defense of an amazing and impeccable career.

Where were you on 9/11?
An anniversay to remember. All of us who were old enough to remember, know exactly where they where on 9/11 2001. My wife was in a meeting at the church. There she remembers telling the ladies with small children. “America is under attack go get your babies”
I was at a new location for our church. I was doing demolition work with a NYC Fireman. As soon as we heard, he was off to ground zero. Most run to hide but not first responders. They run to the problem. Today we have several members of our communities who awaited anxiously to hear of the whereabouts and fate of their loved ones. Today, we grieve with our community members and vow to always remember and learn from that infamous day.
We do not need another 9/11 to keep us humble as some may think, preach or proliferate.
We do need to remember and keep sober minded
Our Jewish friends celebrate feasts such as Purim, Pentecost, tabernacles and especially Passover to remind future generations of their great deliverance from Egypt. This year 9/11 happened to fall on Rosh Hashanah The Jewish new year It is a day of prayer, a time to ask the Almighty to grant us a year of peace, prosperity and blessing. But it is also a joyous day when we proclaim God King of the Universe. Rosh Hashanah, literally means the “ beginning of the year. The Biblical name for this Holiday is Yom Teruah, literally “ A day of shouting/blasting”. It is the first Jewish High Holy celebration.
In our Christian faith, we have communion to remember the great sacrifice made by our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross for the our salvation and the gift of new and eternal life Our responsibility is to remember. Our responsibility is to teach the next generation who were not old enough to understand or were not even born. Some are entering college this year where they may learn all kinds of ideas of what happened that day. We need to remind them of the things we saw, the things we felt and experienced. We do this like the great generation before us, some of whom are still alive to this day that remind us of WW 11, Pearl Harbor, the Holocaust, the Korean War or Vietnam.
The good news is our due diligence to remember, helps our chances of a brighter future for tomorrow. Let's take time to remember our local community members who have served to protect our freedoms, who have served at ground zero as first responders and finally, we also want extend our deepest condolences to those who have suffered the loss of a loved one during that fateful day here in our local communities. We want to extend our thoughts and prayers for those who continue to suffer from grief, residual illness or death due to exposure to the toxins in and around ground zero . Finally to our brave soldiers who serve and protect our way of life here in America.
WHY VOTE?
The American political environment has become very polarized. Each party hes selected specific platforms on which to stand. You may like someone’s smile personality or education and want to vote for them. However, that can be dangerous. Behind the personality and the education or beautiful smile is an agenda. It is important to know what platform we are voting for
This is not like fantasy football where we can try and put a team together to work for the betterment of our country. Our vote Is a vote for a platform not a person. So before we vote, we must do our due diligence to understand a candidates stance on the issues. To be an uninformed voter, is to be a victim of ignorance. Ignorance has destroyed many nations and many of people. Daniel 4:6 says. “ my people are destroyed for the lack of knowledge “
The good news is that we are able to be more informed about candidates than ever before. In some ways it is even good that it has become so polarized. The truth of the agenders of each party is now clearly seen. As a Christian, we must now determine what our true beliefs and values are.
For example, if you believe life begins at conception, then the party that believes a woman can terminate her pregnancy even up to the third trimester should be very telling. No matter how intelligent it may sound, it is the ending of one’s life. A candidate who believes in “choice” needs to be scrutinized for their core beliefs. So when we pray and when we vote you can now see clearly where someone stands on very important issues.
Just so you know, the Republican Party has been standing for life for many years. In contrast, the Democratic Party has moved further and further away from the reality that life begins at conception. They push hard for “women’s rights” yet destroy the life of the child. They push for open borders while closing opportunities for law abiding citizens. They want the constitution to be a living document changing with the times, rather than a document that guides us and protects us for years to come.

Why trade wars?
To everything there’s a season and a time for every purpose under Heaven. (Ecl 3) It is time for a balanced trade agreement with our partners in trade. Much speculation, fear, and apprehension are being communicated by media and leaders. I am confident though God’s order will come. This will include fair and balanced trade relations. Trade is overwhelmingly a good thing when it is fair, balanced and reciprocal. When the scales of trade get corrupt, injustice and inequity erupt. I know we’ve all had enough of war especially after 15 years in the Middle East. The term war can be very unsettling to most of us. However, it is important to confront injustice and inequity when found. This trade war should not produce a military war. I want to bring out a verse of Scripture found in Proverbs to make a simple point.
“The Lord detests the use of dishonest scales, but he delights in accurate weights.”
Proverbs 11:1 NLT
It is interesting that this verse is in the Bible. It shows that God watches over how people trade and use their finances. One time Jesus watched as money was being put in the offering box at the temple. He noticed an older woman putting in a small amount of money.
“Jesus sat down near the collection box in the Temple and watched as the crowds dropped in their money. Many rich people put in large amounts. Then a poor widow came and dropped in two small coins. Jesus called his disciples to him and said, “I tell you the truth, this poor widow has given more than all the others who are making contributions. For they gave a tiny part of their surplus, but she, poor as she is, has given everything she had to live on.””

Whether we like it or not there is a war that is on for the soul of man. It is the god of mammon seeking to take over every man, woman and child. As Christians, we know that money is not the root of all evil but instead the love of money is indeed the root of all evil. By confronting these unjust scales in trade, it is only normal for a “trade” war to break out. I trust it will end quickly. Let’s do as the Bible says and pray for leaders in doing so we can live a peaceful life in all godliness. May God grant our president and his financial leaders wisdom and all they do. (1Timothy 2) In the meantime. We should do justly love mercy and walk humbly with our God.

The good news in all of this? I believe a just balance will be established in our trade agreements.
The Constitution a vision for our nation as the Bible is a vision for God’s people
A recent Supreme Court decision was made in favor of a baker’s right to not design a wedding cake for a homosexual couple. The couple was free to buy any cake they wish. The Baker’s personal convictions are that marriage is between one man and one woman.
The court decision honored their choice to honor their Christian convictions. Supreme court justice Joseph Kennedy made a statement that says “tolerance works both ways.”
The Constitution is either interpreted literally or progressively as a “living document”. The Constitution was written to safeguard the freedoms of our culture from the tyranny of a monarchy, emperor or a dictator. The constitution was written to be a check and balance against the abuse of government. It was written to ensure freedoms to all Americans.
The constitution is not a living document based on the morays of the current culture. The problem with a living document is that it destroys the purpose of the constitution. It is like calling the Bible a living document that can change with society in anyway it chooses. A living document will redifine marriage, redefine how we address God, redefine the purpose of the church and most hideously redefine the things that Jesus spoke.
When a Supreme Court justice is appointed based on his conservative values and the way he interprets constitution, this can affect history in a major way. A president that will choose a Supreme Court justice who is a constitutionalist preserves the history and protection for freedom loving Americans. One of the major reasons we voted for president Donald Trump was because he did commit to appoint conservative justices.
The Word of God is our constitution. It is to interpret us and challenge us to godly living. We do need to understand culture and history to understand much of what was going on in biblical times, The simple truths in scripture are timeless, life-saving and challenge us all to live a godly lives.The constitution secures God’s divine prosperity. Divine prosperity is secured by a vision. Without a vision people perish.

Lessons from the Alabama election?
Just because someone is a Christian, can quote Bible verses and speak Christianese does not mean that they are electable, hirable or deserve to be in public service of any type. We are told in scripture that we should live sharp as serpents and innocent as doves. We are told to live wisely with those who are without faith or live outside the camp with faith. This does not mean that we forsake our faith, compromise our faith or give into worldly standards. It simply means that we are to be shrewd, discerning and wise. The things of the spirit are foolishness to the those of the world. We should expect that from the world. The world will never understand the beauty of Jesus until they come to him. In the meantime, we need to occupy until Jesus comes. We need to be smart in our dealings with the world. We should serve in any capacity with dignity respect, love and peace. If God opens a door for us to serve in public service or in an elected office, we can do so in such wisdom that it cannot be debated. Despite his apparent failings, I believe our president Donald Trump is a believer. I believe his wife Melania is a believer. I also believe President Trump was more electable than all 17 of the other candidates. That was due to shrewdness, wisdom and application of the use of information in the election process. What is the good news for us? The good news is that we are in the world but not of it. The good news is that we can be sharp serpents innocent as doves. The good news is God wants to use us in public office or public service or on our jobs wherever that may be. Let’s continue to pray for wisdom as we walk in this world. Let’s continue to pray to the Lord to use us in this world to be light, salt and a continued expression of Christ in the earth.

I was recently reading an article in Time magazine concerning artificial intelligence. While being amazed where we have come and where we are going in this area, I was also made alert to the fact that one day this system will become all consuming. Believers must arm themselves with the Word of God and prayer in order to contend for his or her faith.
This beast system one day will demand worship. Right now there will be many benefits to help mankind. But one day it will require us to yield to its demands with a mark. This mark will limit what we can buy and sell unless we have it. It could be a chip implanted in the hand or the forehead in order to buy and sell. This is already happening in some business environments. Some employees are opting to have chips planted beneath their skin to access their workplace. Look at the way our "smart" phones affect our lives. While the benefits of communication are real and true, the hypnotic affect is also very real. Just watch people socialize. Instead of talking, many are just staring at their phone looking at the latest text or note posted on Facebook. This is not fear mongering, but it is an awareness. There is nothing new under the sun, as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be when the Son of Man comes. In like manner, as it was in the days of the Tower of Babel so will it be when the Son of Man comes. Men will continue to build his towers to the sky. This is not just building towers, but information towers. Artificial intelligence will continue to expand at an alarming rate. According to Moore's law. It will be doubling every 10 years. While many will be helped there will come a time where it will demand worship. If the believer is not prepared, he or she will be deceived. Lying signs and wonders will take the world by storm. And so much that even the elect could be deceived. On the other side, is the army of God fully prepared, fully equipped. The army of God operating in the gifts of the spirit without scarcity. Signs and wonders, demonstrations of the spirit and power, to help people not trust in the wisdom of man but the power of God. The social ills will always continue because the sin nature can only be resolved through the new birth. That is something the autonomous revolution can not manufacture or fix. Artificial intelligence can only speed up knowledge but not heal heart matters or societies' social and spiritual ills. The key to operating in the future is being in the Word and in a state of prayer and worship. (especially praying in tongues) This is not an option it is absolute survival. The true believer sees the big picture and is not deceived by the accomplishments of men. The believer uses these new technologies to benefit man and get the gospel to the four corners of the earth. However, he or she is aware that man and the beast system wants to be worshipped. This may take 30-40 years to fully manifest. However, the beast system is here among us now. So as Jesus said, and warned us, pray that you may escape these things. Pray that you might not be tempted above what you're able. Worship continually to remind yourself that there is only one God and man is mere grass and all his glory is like the flower of the grass.
“A voice said, “Shout!” I asked, “What should I shout?” “Shout that people are like the grass. Their beauty fades as quickly as the flowers in a field. The grass withers and the flowers fade beneath the breath of the Lord. And so it is with people. The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the word of our God stands forever.””

Follow the money!
As investigators scramble to find answers for the worst massacre in US history, Scripture teaches us that " the love of money is the root of all evil." 1 Timothy 6:10. I'm sure much will be exposed as they follow the money trail for this man's life. From abortion to zealots of radical Islamic terrorism, the love of money is at the root of all this evil. As investigators follow this money trail, so much will be unfolded. While riches in and of themselves are not evil, there is a deceitfulness that goes with riches. Believers must guard themselves from deceitfulness of riches. If not, it will choke out the Word of God in their lives.
As worshipers of God, we exalt the Lord our God above the god of mammon. The deceitfulness of riches cannot take hold of us. The good news is, money is a tool that God wants to bless us with to do good in the earth. If the love of money is the root of all evil, the proper use and proper attitude of money can be a root of all good. God bless you and may God's grace be on you spirit, soul and body.

North Korea is the birth child of the communist manifesto. It's now currently the rogue son of China and Russia. It has been allowed to function as an addicted drug addict to power while being enabled by China and Russia. Their lack of disciplinary actions and training have left North Korea to become A rogue insecure nation trying to flex it's muscles around the Asian community and America without consequence. It is time to have intervention and bring this prodigal home.
In the 1800s North Korea was considered the Jerusalem of the east. It has left its first love and embraced the god of secular humanism and communism. The current leader's father watched as a young boy, his mother sleep in church and came to the conclusion that there is no power in the church. As a result he chose to embrace the communist manifesto as his dogma. North Korea's current leader and his nation are one of the few last hold outs to communism. It's fate is certain. The Communist manifesto is a failure. There is no nation that has succeeded under its reign without embracing an openness to democracy of some sort. While this nation starves it's people to build it's military the God of heaven who sees all, and knows all will take him out and raise up another. There is no power but God. He raises up one and puts down another. So the good news is fear not. If God can take a king like Nebuchadnezzar who's pride destroyed him and made him become as a beast of the field for seven years, till he finally acknowledged the true God of Heaven, I am sure the God of heaven who sees all and knows all and is all powerful, will bring this man to his knees.
This bastard son of communism shall face the judgment of an almighty just God.

A Memorial Day Message!
We are the land of the free and the home of the brave we are the land where we declare all men are created equal and have the In alienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We have the right and freedom to assemble, the right to bear arms, the right to freedom of speech and amongst many other freedoms the freedom of worship. Today we honor those who have defended these rights and freedoms with either the ultimate sacrifice or a lifetime of ultimate service to our community's and nation. One of the sins of our time is that we can forget Forget the sacrifices that of been made, forget that liberties have come with the cost. Forget that we have not always enjoyed these freedoms. Yes it's right to celebrate to take time off to be with family to have fun. It is a way of honoring those who have secured our freedoms. But it is the essential duty of our communities, state and of our nation to remember to memorialize, to give Honor. Our assembly today is not just a tradition it is the duty and it is the security and longevity of these freedoms we so love and adore. The God of heaven will hold us accountable to a life of honor. Any nation that does not honor father and mother nor honor those who make great sacrifices for others is bound to failure. Today, we gather here to carry out the duty to remember. May God continue to bless this great nation, this great community, our veterans and their families, all first responders, our community faith and civic leaders and the Patchogue Fire Department

Are we under surveillance?
The good news in a bad news world is that you and I are constantly under surveillance. The eyes of our Father are over all the earth seeing the good and the evil. His eyes are on the righteous and His ears open to our prayers. He guides us with His loving eyes upon us and His eyes never miss a sparrow that falls from the sky. How much more is He watching us. So we are under surveillance. As the world is seeking to determine what happened pre-election in the Trump administration, we must as Christians continue to pray for truth to surface and God's will to be done. We are also reminded that God's eyes are upon us at all times. Since we live in the reverence of the Lord and respect towards God. We are not being afraid of the world's pursuit to know everything about us. We are conscious of His presence and his loving eyes upon us at all times, guiding us and directing us in all our concerns of life. Some people are concerned that "big brother"is watching. I have no fear concerning that because I know I'm already being watched all the time and I live accordingly. We have nothing to fear, our Father is watching.
Borders or no borders that is the question?
One of the greatest perseveres of neighborhood peace are property fences. The local municipalities go to great lengths to protect the boundaries of individual property. In fact, there are special laws that protect neighbors from encroaching on their neighbors property line. To build an extension on your house that come within a certain feet of your neighbor it requires a variance. the neighbors must be notified and agree to the project.
Why we are so upset over a nation having healthy and strong borders is beyond me. We all usually go to bed at night and lock our doors to protect ourselves from unwanted quests or criminals. Some how I believe we have mis construed national boundaries with being self absorbed. When the Lord made the seas He gave it boundaries. When he ordered the formation of the twelve tribes of Israel, He gave them borders. When nations are formed He gave them borders. In fact, every psychotherapist will tell you a key to emotional health is healthy boundaries. Children are more secure with boundaries. Why all the fuss in our nation. We are a nation of law and order to protect the citizenry of the great USA. That is the presidents first job assignment. Let's pray for our leaders to make wise and prudent decisions.
Attack On Children A Christmas Story
In a very polarized population here in the US, it can be hard to determine right from wrong, good verses bad, light verses darkness. Most of us can agree that life is to be respected and honored. It is interesting as we enter the Christmas season to see that many social ills are simply refabricated over thousands of years. Same problem just under a different name or reason. What am I saying?
We are reminded during Christmas of the birth of Christ. We reflect on all the stories that made that event become a reality. One particular event was the edict sent forth by the then king of Judea. King Herod hosted a visit by the Magi from the east who followed a star to the Christ child. After learning of the advent of a king being born, Herod in a fit of jealous rage had all the male children killed ages two and younger. Herod could not get the exact location from the magi who on purpose did not disclose it knowing his insane jealousy. It was a horrible event in history. Those little boys became martyrs for Christ I am sure they have a special place in the kingdom of God as do all martyres.

and remained there until the death of Herod. This was to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet, “Out of Egypt I called my son.”
Then Herod, when he saw that he had been tricked by the wise men, became furious, and he sent and killed all the male children in Bethlehem and in all that region who were two years old or under, according to the time that he had ascertained from the wise men.
A similar event occured in the days of Moses's birth. The children of Israel's population swelled in Egypt. The current Pharoah did not remember Joseph and began to be threatened by Isreal's population explosion. He feared they would one day rebel againt Egyptian slavery and overtake Egypt. So what does Pharoah do? He devises a plan to systematically kill all male newborns. Sound familiar?

In our modern culture, man has devised a plan to curb the "population explosion". What we have is eugenics. Orginizations have been devised to provide modern day killing of the unborn. It has become a very heated topic in politics and among Americans. Many confused Christisn non Christian woman have been wearied into compliance. They have comitted this astrocity. The good news is there is always forgiveness. God's redemptive work can be performed as the men and the women who followed this path repent and aknowledge their child is alive and well, give names to these children in heaven and move on with conviction and passion to protect the unborn.
Many states are trying to curb this hideous act through enacting certain bills to deter the act of abotion. One such bill was recently presented to the Ohio Supreme Court. It was called the "heartbeat Bill". At 6 weeks, a heartbeat can be detected in an unborn child. The bill would make abortions illegal once a heartbeat is detected. The bill was not signed by the governor due to the fact that many law suits would be incurred if he did so. Really? What is a child's life worth?
At least he signed another bill hindering abortions after 20 weeks. We are making slow progree as science and governments prove that an unborn can feel pain thus the act of abortion becomes unveiled for what it is. A hideous act of violence!
The good news is that today we have an administration that will go to bat for the unborn. I know some of you reading may disagree. You may believe a woman should have the right to choose. However, the more science proves that life begins at conception, the more the concience of our nation may wake up. Ultimately, the New Birth in Christ is the ultimate wake up for the concience. However, when the culture of a society continues to justify acts of vilence, it wearies the soul of the saints. Yes, God forgives us for all acts against his word and will, eventually though He will hold a society accountable for how it treats it's children.
The same demonic spirit that went after the small children in Moses' and Jesus' day attacks them today through abortion and abuse.
The good news is that historically out of this evil, good came. Moses led in the delivererance of God's people. Jesus delivered us all from our sins! Only Time will tell about the children who made it through this horrible modern day Holocost. I am thinking of 2 amazing examples. Tim Tebow and Kari Jobe. Both of their mothers were recomended by their doctors to have an abortion. Both refused. Tim a great athlete, whose Christian testimony has affected millions and Kari an amazing worship leader who has lead untold millions into the presence of God through song!

Having post election jubilation or indigestion?
Either way the good news is we are so blessed to have a free country to vote for our leaders. The balance of power in government provides accountability and representation for the masses. When changes come to our personal lives or our nation, we have to adjust and adapt. America has proven to be very adaptable and flexible over the centuries of her existence. We would be foolish to think we will not adapt and grow. A friend once spoke this proverb. "Blessed are the flexible, They will never get bent out of shape." I personally believe we are in a major transition in our country and God is hearing the prayers of His saints. I t would be best to get on board in faith. As Christians, we are to live by faith not by sight. Our trust is in the Lord. I would like to close with a verse from the Book of Psalms.

"Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion which cannot be moved but abide forever. As the mountains are around Jerusalem, so the Lord is around His people from this time forth and forever. The wicked will not rule the land of the godly for then the godly might be tempted to do wrong. "

After a long campaign trail we are winding down to two candidates. I know it can seem nauseating to watch if you indeed do watch, we are called to watch and pray. Please keep in mind after 6,000 years of known history, we have before us the finest form of government ever. Is it perfect?, no of course not but it is the envy of the world. the freedom to debate issues and confront fraud and waste in our government is an enormous advancement in a free society. So who won the first presidential debate? Well, my assignment is not to declare the winner of political debates. I have my opinions for sure. My assignment is to declare the Body of Christ the winners! No matter who wins on the political side of life, we need to keep in mind that the believer is victorious when he or she lives by faith. No man or woman can truly be the answer to society's ills. The man or woman of faith overcomes this world by faith!

A Little Child Shall Lead Them

This past Saturday night, terror attacks broke out in New York, New Jersey, and Minnesota. It is always a bit unsettling. However in children's church, my little granddaughter Hannah, broke out into song all on her own. She began singing that old powerful hymn, "Oh The blood of Jesus". I did not understand the significance till Sunday afternoon when her mom Vanessa showed me the video of Hannah singing in the basement of the Church. Somehow, I believe her spirit led her to sing that song as a song of protection over us all! The devil may have his plans but there are countless vessels of glory awaiting to thwart his plans through songs of deliverance.

Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
Due to the excellent work of law enforcement agencies and the faith of Christ's Church including that of a little child the perpetrator was captured that same day. May we all have the faith of a little child.
Mother Theresa is Canonized!
What a great example of love and compassion to the world. Mother Theresa challenges us all to be the best we can be in our love to others. True religion according to James is to visit the fatherless and the widows in their affliction.

Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
We really do not need to go far to find those who qualify as the fatherless and the widow. many are fatherless because the do not know the heavenly father and many are widow because they are not married to the great husband of the church. We are all challenged by Mother Theresa to act as the saints we are called to be.

What In The world Is Going On?
Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
No Really, what is going on? I am glad you asked. I am not going to pretend to know all the theological answers for our current crisis, in politics, world economy or terrorism. What I would like to point out is what Jesus said in John 16:33
"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."
Jesus came as a man and was tempted like a man in every way conceivable and beyond. Yes at all points He was tempted, says Hebrews, yet without sin. Jesus has faced every crisis we have or ever will have. In each case, He overcame. Therefore, He has the authority to teach us how to overcome as He did. Tribulations are unavoidable, they are a constant in the world. To overcome and beat this fact we must face them with a stronger and more enduring constant. That constant is the Spirit anointed Word of God in our hearts and in our mouths.
"The grass will wither and the flower will fade but the Word of God will stand forever" Isaiah 40:8.
When we place the inspired Word in our mouths, stand on His righteousness, remaining fearless of death, we will be positioned to overcome. To overcome simply means to go over, under, around or through whatever comes. We have what it takes ! We can utilize all that Jesus has taught us in precept and example. 1 John 5:4 says this,
"For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, [even] our faith."
Now that we are born of God we have the very nature of Christ in us. We are made of overcomer material. His DNA is in us now. As we see the earth reeling, the seas roaring, the nations trembling, the terrorists attacking, fear not! We have Christ in us, the Hope of Glory !! We love you all and trust the overcomer in you will rise up to meet every challenge that comes your way.
The Persecuted Church
The recent throat slaying of Catholic priest in France is a reminder that Jesus said persecution would come for the Gospel's sake.
Mat 5:11
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Paul said "all those who live Godly in Christ would suffer persecution".
2Ti 3:12
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
So what is the good news with such horrible atrocities? Glad you asked. Jesus said to pray for those who despitefully use you and to bless those who curse you.
Mat 5:44
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
The good news is that good will always overcome evil, love will always overcome hate, grace will always overcome sin and the Christ has fully overcome the antichrist spirit. We need to continue to pray for the persecuted church and not forget them. By lifting our hands to heaven in prayer we support them and God will honor our prayers and deliver many of them.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Declaring War?
Should America and the NATO countries declare war on ISIS? Most of us would be afraid of the thought but it is a necessary evil. Would this be WW111 or the end? I do not think so. While the Radical Islamic terrorists would love to draw all nations into an Armageddon type war, we need to step up and let them know this is not their time, nor satan's. God has a work to do in the earth still. The whole earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. When WW1 and 11 came many thought that was the end. When the war in Iraq occurred, many thought that was the end. When Y2K happened many prepared for the worst. When 9/11 happened I thought that was it . While these are birth pangs, it is not the end yet. Many antichrist figures and organizations will rise and fall. The Islamic terrorist is just another manifestation of the antichrist spirit. It is the job of world leaders to guard and protect their nations much like a good father would protect his home. If someone were to break into a good man's house he would attack to harm and ask questions later. We must go on the offensive now. We as Christians must be aware that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds. We must enforce our victory in Christ over fear , doubt, unbelief and satan himself. Satan is under our feet and the Christian must stand in full armor resisting satan on every front. BE STRONG
Racism
Racism of any type is an indictment against the Lord our Creator. Our declaration of Independence declared that "all men are created equal". Jesus has bridged the gap between races by providing The New Creation. (A race of people that never existed before). A race of people in Him that are of one blood. We have become brothers and sisters in Christ no matter what color or ethnic background we are from

Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
The Dallas Shooting
This the work of the antichrist spirit. Anything that resists the God ordained authorities, is antichrist. God has established order in government. The police are part of that order. In Romans 13 the apostle Paul says the authorities do not bear the sword in vain. They are there to protect those who respect law and order and punish those who do not and take vengeance on evil.
“For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.”
Romans 13:4 KJV
Can those who protect and defend have a few bad apples? Of course. There are bad apples in every area of society, even in the work that I do as a minister. Proverbs says the if we remove the dross from the silver will will have a pure and fine vessel. If we remove the wicked from before the king, his throne will be established in righteousness. thus another call for prayer for God to deal with the wicked. Our prayers go out to the families of the slain officers and those killed by accidental means. It is very hurtful to the soul to see our officers treated like this. We are aware that the antichrist spirit is already in the world. The good news in this bad news world is "greater is He that is in us, than he that is in the world". 1 John 4:4
The Zika Virus
The spread of blood borne disease through mosquitos is nothing knew. While it is alarming, we as Christians are not to fear. We need to resist fear and have our hearts fixed on the Word of God and what it says concerning these things. One of my favorite scriptures is Psalm 91. In that Psalm we find promises concerning plagues. " No plague shall come near my dwelling". Use natural repellents as needed, more importantly use the spiritual repellant of faith
Psa 91:10
There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
We also need to know how to appropriate the blood of Jesus over our lives and families. Fear is more dangerous than the virus itself. Resist fear on every front by speaking the word and taking authority over it and command it to leave!.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
The Election
While the back and forth battles between candidates can be annoying to our ears, we are so blessed to have free and open elections. We are free to vote prayerfully. The Apostle Paul encouraged his apprentice Timothy to pray. He gave him some very important guidelines in prayer.
1Ti 2:1-4 KLV
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
While it is important to exercise our right to vote, it is essentially more important to exercise our right to pray and use our God given authority to intervene in the affairs of government. I found it interesting during the primaries how some Christians were divided over which candidate was best suited for the Republican nomination. In one camp they prayed and fasted for their candidate to only watch his campaign end. To not vote is in my opinion irresponsible. We must do both. In order importance, prayer comes first.
The Brexit ( Britain's exit from the European union)
Every few decades, the cry for freedom is heard from peoples of various nations. The liberation of the colonies of America from Britain, the liberation of Europe from the Nazis, the end of the cold war and the tumbling of the Berlin wall. We all desire freedom, but the controlling nature of man wants to centralize power. There is only one King under whom all kings and lords will submit. That is the King of Kings and The Lord of Lords Jesus Christ. These changes are the result of a premature gathering of the nations into a one world government under the antichrist. We could be entering an age of another awakening in the world as the cry for not only political independence but spiritual renewal is on the way. I have lived by the water for many years. I have seen the tide go way out at times. As far as it goes out it comes in. We have gone so far out in political correctness and anti Christian attitudes that the tide is moving back in. We need to poise ourselves for another awakening here in America and in the world. This is a great time to stir up our prayer lives and our love for one another.

Orlando; God's Judgement or Just a bad news world
As a Pastor, it is very important to address current events from a heavenly perspective. It is so easy to throw stones, place blame or accuse. What is hard is digging deep to the issues that really matter. To find the things that really matters requires a heart and temperament of meekness. Meekness is power under control. We live in a wicked world where satan is the god. He does not own the earth. He is the god of the cosmos. The atmosphere. He influences the hearts and minds of humans to steal, kill and destroy. The real enemy is first of all satan. The second enemy is the transmission of sin through fathers. Ideology, prejudice, hatred and warped belief systems are all transmitted through our forefathers. It is no secret that the murderer in Orlando had a father sympathetic towards the vicious group we know as the Taliban. While some gun control can help and more thorough vetting of immigrants can help as well, the core issues of demonic powers and sins of the fathers play a more dominant role. The world news will never catch these issues. The Church of Jesus Christ is called to bring these issues to there forefront. In meekness, we must address these issues with the Word of God. Satan has been confronted and his power destroyed through the cross and the precious blood of Jesus. Only Faith In God through Jesus Christ can the curse be broken. God the Holy Spirit brings the hearts of the fathers to the children and the heart of children to the fathers in true righteousness. We as fathers carry a great responsibility. Our humility before God and before our children sets the stage for healing , hope and salvation for our families and our nation. May God's grace heal our nation and the families of those who are suffering from the Orlando terrorist attack.
